I just purchased this product, it was highly recommended to me for my saltwater reef aquarium, I will be setting it up tonight and will update when I have further comments, it has a gentle spray bar in the middle and two stronger outputs on the top and bottom. It’s an under water filter, so it should also reduce the noise level of the tank. Update: Oh YEAH!!! This filter works GREAT! Look at the level of oxygenation! Incomparable to a hang on back filter! Just don’t make the mistake I did, and rinse the biomax with tap water, not advised, and I feel silly for making such an error. It said “wash with clean water” and my elevated* brain went for the sink. Not a proud moment.
