Easy to use and very sharp..They are durable. There is no safety lock on them. The shears are comfortable to use. The shears were use on shrubs and rose bushes and made them look neat and uniform.

These PowerGear2 Hedge Shears by Fiskars work great! Compared to other hedge shears I have tried in the past these ones are so much easier to use. They are lighter in weight making the strain on my muscles and hands a lot less during longer jobs. I believe the difference is due to the gear technology that these are designed with that provides extra leverage especially when reaching. Even the thick branches were simple to cut through. I appreciate that these shears have a UltraBlade coating to help keep the quality and remain rust free. I also love that they include a full lifetime warranty.
