#FirstAidBeauty finally broke into the hair threshold, and I was thrilled! Great product and decent price; the combination of ingredients - 1% Pyrithone Zinc, Calendula, Vitamin E, Charcoal Powder and silk peptides made it more than effective at making my scalp feel fresh and stimulated (I will say that this ingredient was banned in Europe, which may have something to do with the discontinuation of this product). It’s a shame it’s discontinued, but there are a few pro’s which I’ll shortly get to. No other shampoo on the market had that much PZ in it along with hydrating ingredients that just made washing hair a pleasure - especially when I would get my scalp scrubber involved. Once I knew my scalp was stimulated and I had scrubbed well enough, the instructions say to let it sit for several minutes, which provides a sensational tingly feeling that just makes you feel like you already have new hair follicles being stimulated. I haven’t been able to find this or the scalp serum #firstaidbeauty released in tandem with this product either; random websites (not even Amazon), Kohl’s has the serum for example and (this is when it get’s good) occasionally at Tj Maxx or Marshall’s - which I always purchase it if I’m lucky to find it. However, I will admit that this makes me somewhat hesitant as to why they took it off the market completely. I’m always looking for hair growth products since I’m losing hair, and adding a shampoo and scalp serum combo in like this once or twice a week was great for exfoliating and stimulating the scalp. I loved it! I will say, if you’re looking for a similar product and can’t find it, they are nowhere near as good, but CVS has their own brand of a 3% salicylic acid scalp serum. Just look on their app or website and type in: “CVS Scalp Serum.” As far as the shampoo goes, I’ve heard #BondiBoost has one as well. If you really want to get fancy #Oribe (my favorite) has an entire “anti-dandruff” and “thickening” system that come in adorable pink bottles. That works better than anything.

This product did help with reducing dandruff. It left my hair feeling smoother than most other dandruff shampoos. The only complaint I have is that it's difficult to dispense. Felt like I had to squeeze really hard to get the product out!

This shampoo is amazing. It did not leave my hair dry like many other dandruff shampoos I’ve tried (*cough* Oribe) It completely changed my scalp. No flakes, no redness or dryness, just clean healthy scalp and hair. It lathers up great. Smells nicely. Plays well with colored hair. I will probably use this shampoo forever.
