Review for: Griselda more...
The color of this lipstick (Griselda) is gorgeous. Despite how dark and bold it is it’s very flattering, and doesn't wash out my fair skin. The application of this product is a tad more difficult than some lipsticks. 1) you really need to prep your lips to get a smooth application: exfoliate and hydrate, otherwise it gets caught in lines and doesn't apply evenly. 2) when applying on the bottom lip, turn it upside down--a tip I read on glamour.com's article about the lipstick. 3) Lip liner. I really recommend lining your lips with lip liner, putting concealer around your lips, or both to get a clean line. On that note, once it's on it stayed on really well. It wasn't completely transfer proof, but only a very small amount ended up on my cup, and it didn't seem to fade the color on my lips any. The feel of the product wasn't drying to me, and was very light weight. Almost like a gel or wax vs being very creamy. Overall, I'd recommend this lipstick to someone looking for an edgy but wearable color with a lightweight feel. The only downside for me was the prepping needed for a smooth application, but that won't stop me from using it.

Review for: Spanked, Single, Freckle Fiesta more...
Love these lipsticks by Fenty! I purchased all 3 shades from Sephora & already want to try more. Definitely met my expectations and I'm a first time user of this product. Obviously I would buy again after saying I already want to try more colors but I was so pleased with the three colors I purchased initially. Freckle Fiesta being my all time favorite of the 3 shades. It's so different and unique to my collection and the shade is just so beautiful. I love that all of the colors Rihanna released will work on all skin tones! So amazing to see a brand really catering to everyone and not just specific skin tones. Every brand needs to start doing what Fenty has already done. They set the bar for 2018 with their foundation shade range and now these lippies! Other brands need to step up if they want to even compare with Fentys inclusiveness. It's amazing and I'm so happy to FINALLY see a brand doing it the right way!

Treated myself to a Fenty matte lip color as hadn’t tried anything of hers yet....I am a major lip fiend so thought I would give one a go. Certainly not one of the cheapest high end products, but willing to pay a couple of extra bucks for something worthwhile.
I think it was around $28.

Firstly, the packaging....or casing? Is absolutely gorgeous...like a golden capsule....that’s got a retro, almost 20’s antique feel about it. Very pretty.

Color was bang on what I was expecting. A burnt orange stroke red....but not too much. Subtle enough for day time. It glided on, and I mean glided...super moisturizing and must be formulated with some form of thick cream, like a Shea butter.

Very very pigmented, one sweep and you’re done. As moisturized as my lips were, I still got that matte finish I Love without feeling tacky. Lasted a good while too....no drying effect. This one is worth the extra ladies....

I must say, this color I thought was gonna look so crazy on me become of my skin tone but it all worked out. I ordered it from Sephora, came in three days. $18 is a bit pricey for a lipstick especially for it size it’s is quite small but I brought that and another shade to support Fenty Beauty because their foundation shade matches me the best out of all that I have tried so I said why not. It applies so smooth and creamy not patchy at allFENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick, I tested it out without a liner but next time I will be using one to tone it down some so I can wear out more often without looking so extra lol. It does compliment my skin tone though.

Review for: Candy Venom more...
Candy Venom is a vibrant bold almost neon pink. I have been really happy with the pigmentation of the fenty lip products I have tried to so far but I will say that lip liner is needed for this  FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick This is very staining so plan on wearing it once it is on! When I tried to remove it with a makeup wipe my lips were stained pink for the rest of the day! If you are looking for a bright pop of color I would recommend this shade it will be a gorgeous color that I can see myself reaching for all summer.

Review for: Griselda more...
Look, Fenty is a pretty good brand, but I don’t think it deserves all the credit people give it just because it’s Rihanna’s brand and has a ton of foundation shades. This product could use some work. Here we go.

1. The color - Griselda is a beautiful shade. It’s a bit patchy though. I find I have to do a couple of swipes to get its full pigmentation.

2. The application - what were they thinking with this shape? It’s impossible to have clean edges around your lips, no matter how you turn the lipstick. You must use a lip liner with this one. For almost all of the other lipsticks I own, I don’t need one.

3) The feel - initially this is comfortable when I first put it on. Pretty weightless, comparable to the colourpop matte-x lippies. However, the longer you wear it the more drying it becomes.

The color is the best part about this lipstick, that’s why I gave the 2 stars. Other than that, it’s a hard pass. Love her liquid lipstick though.

FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick is amazing. I purchased it as soon as it was launched in Sephora at the beginning of January. The whole line has amazing color pay off, but I feel like Freckle Fiesta looked the best for me that I could wear often either with full glam or just a basic fresh face. This product does not take a lot to have great coverage. It does dry down matte, but it’s not drying to the lips. And it still stays pretty soft and velvety throughout the day even once it’s dried down. I use this every day on its own. And when I want a little bit of a bolder lip I pair it with MAC Patrickstarrr Lip Pencil in Mahogany. It is a beautiful color combination with a amber/ rustic Smokey eye.

Review for: Spanked, Candy Venom more...
I got a mini version of Candy Venom in the new Sephora "Give Me Some New Lip" kit, and a full-size in Spanked as well. These are CRAZY pigmented, and glide on surprisingly effortlessly. They remind me of that marshmallow whip in a jar almost (the consistency as you're applying). I was expecting it to drag and be very firm, but it's very nice and soft. I am able to get both lips covered in just one swipe on my bottom lip haha. Definitely wears fora long time but I do see it transfer a bit when I eat and drink and the color fades very evenly over time. One thing, after prolonged wear, this does dry out my lips a lot so starting with a lip balm or oil and allowing it to fully sink in first makes this a dream to wear.

The formula is creamy and goes on smooth it doesnt dry out the lips, it was the first time i tried a fenty lip product and i loved the color. I wasn't happy that it bleeds a little bit so a lip liner will be needed next time i apply, it also after drying and being on a while dried and gathered a bit in the corners of the mouth. It does transfer easily which is something i try to avoid when buying lippies and when eating if you're biting into food especially on the greasy side forget about it, not only does the color fade but you risk smuding the rest of it.

Review for: Freckle Fiesta more...
Not bad, but a little overhyped. I love riri and have bought everything from her, but I thought these were ok. Not sure if it’s the shade I got but it has A LOT of transfer for a matte, but it’s Super pigmented and creamy! To me the finish reminds me more of a Mac cremesheen finish, but goes on like Colourpop’s matte x lippie stix. I also didn’t like how small it was for the price. Your getting half the amount of say a Mac lipstick for the same price. I probably won’t buy anymore unless if there is a sale lol. I would rather go for Colourpop’s Matte x lippie stix because it’s pretty much the same formula but those are actually matte as have much less transfer.
