  • "i really really love this product however my only concern is with the highlighter i wasn’t too sure how to apply it because it’s almost as if you’re not sure of whether it’s a powder or creamy like product so i wasn’t sure if to apply after i put on my power or after my foundation and concealer. i think it would be better if the highlighter were powder . • "these skin sticks are pretty nice!  the contour shade in this trio (amber) is a great cool-toned contour shade for light skin tones!  the concealer shade (linen) is a good match for my skin tone.  the highlight shade (starstruck) is such a pretty pinky highlight!  i loved purchasing these in a trio, i feel like it was a good price point for 3 sticks (they are $25 if you buy them separately)  the formula on these is a tad on the dry side, so if you have dry skin use with caution!  i tend to be on the combo/oily side so they work great for me!  i do recommend for combo/oily skin types." in 14 reviews

So, I really wanted to like the Fenty match stix trio, but the only stick I ever use is the contour stick. The highlight stick: I tried everything you can think of; putting it on my hands first, using a brush on the stick first instead of putting the stick directly on my skin, then trying to “warm” it up so it can get creamier and easier to blend.. and none of this worked for me. I just don’t care for the consistency and it is way too hard to apply. I’ll be sticking to my ABH highlighters for sure.

The concealer stick: To be fair, I’m not really a big fan of stick concealers like this so it just doesn’t work for me when really beating my face. It is really good as using it as a spot concealer though. I had a bruise i wanted to cover up and it worked really well.

The contour stick (in truffle): As i stated above, the contour stick is the only one I reach for out of the trio. I actually use it all the time. It blends nicely and looks really nice on me. Next time, I would definitely just buy the contour stick and not the whole trio. :(

When I got this products I wondered if I was going to get the contour I was looking for because I had tried a lot of other brands but they were all too light. These trio is life and it's super easy carry on. It's well pigmented and blends well with a beauty blender. I got mine from @sephora The price is considerate giving the fact that you are getting 3. Love it and I definitely recommend it.

I’ll be honest I only use the contour shade from this bundle. Overall, I think the shades for these sticks are a bit dark for people with fair skin tone. The concealer stick is a bit yellow for my skin so I’m not using it. The highlighter stick has such a beautiful tone, but I don’t use it frequently because I prefer powder highlighters. As for the contour stick I do use it even though it has a grayish undertone, I think you can make it work with bronzer and rest of the makeup. The only thing I like about the contour shade is that it’s super easy to blend out. Also, the packaging is super cool.

This is my least favorite contour kit, and was oddly enough the most expensive. It isn’t easy to apply because you have to warm it up on your hand otherwise it won’t blend hardly at all. It doesn’t blend well and leaves lines where you originally put the contour. The highlighter isn’t any better. It doesn’t blend, and is so light that you need 2 coats. Its just not worth the money.

LOVE these!!! When I'm running behind and need to do a quick look, I can use this trio to contour, brighten under the eyes, and highlight my skin. I've even used them on the lids for some color. They're creamy enough to use straight from the tubes but I have also used brushes for more control / precision of application. Speaking of the tubes, I really like the color and the magnetic properties of them -- makes it easy to keep them together and pull the whole set off my nightstand without having to pull one at a time. Also, I originally did think the formulas were a little stiff, especially for the one I was using under the eye, but after a few uses its been working well and hasn't tugged under the eyes. Since I have dry skin, I normally don't set them and my skin still looks natural and nice all day.

I love this trio set. I bought it because I was in love with the starstruck highlighter stick and they were sold out of it by itself. So I decided to go for it and try all three products out. I am a fan of the concealer stick, it works pretty good for my under eyes but it is not buildable and doesn't offer full coverage to hide the bags under my eyes. I haven't had a chance to play with the contour stick a whole lot, my only complaint is it can be a little difficult to learn how to blend it out. They want to cling to the skin and not budge. I love the highlighter stick, it's my favorite go to right now! I like to apply it and then buff the edges out with my finger.
Super thankful I bought this set, I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about it!

This is an awesome idea! for me the contour and concealer stick worked wonders. it was so smooth and blended in really well for a very natural look. The highlight was a little weird for me. Weird consistency that kind of made my foundation rub away and odd color.

This trio is literally my everyday go to . Really easy to use, formula blends smoothly. I’ve had it for six months and have just started seeing a difference in the amount left . So the product goes a long way . The shimmer , my goodness, is amazing for that subtle but noticeable highlight .FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Match Stix Trio Conceal, Contour, Highlight

I bought the confetti highlighter as soon as it came out from Sephora. Unfortunately trying to layer this on top of the fenty foundation doesn’t work at all. It seems to move the foundation you’ve put underneath it around. I’ve tried warming it up with my finger directly from the stick but the payoff isn’t as great as just applying it right to your face.

How much pigmentation is in the contour/concealer sticks? Seems a bit sheer/shimmery.
