- "fenty beauty match stix concealer 👈🏽swipe i have heard a lot about this brand and was excited to try the match stix. i got colour matched and was given shade linen which was one shade lighter for the concealer than if i chose to use the match stix as a foundation. it claims to be a magnetised makeup stick in a longwear, light-as-air matte formula to conceal, correct, contour, and touch up in 20 shades. i have been using this on top of my foundation, swiping the stick directly onto my under eye area and any area that needed concealing. i then blended with my finger. it blended really well and was a great colour. it does feel like it goes on as a light cream and you can really build the coverage to suit what you need. the concealer blended into a more powdery texture, i did find it collected a little throughout the day in my dry areas, but it provided good coverage! pros: 1. lightweight 2. blend-able & buildable 3. great colour range 4. love the match stix magnetic packaging cons: 1. not the cheapest at £21 each 2. i found it clung to drier areas a bit" in 27 reviews
- "very good product. the packaging is cute. the shade range is just great. the coverage is good and it is okay to work with. since i have oily skin i really love it" in 14 reviews
Review for: Caramel more...
First let me say I really do like the Fenty Beauty line of products with the EXCEPTION of this one. I bought the Caramel concealer as part of the Match Stix Trio package. The contour color Truffle...I like. The highlight color Rum...I love. The concealer color Caramel...is a definite NO for me. It's a very dry formula. Very difficult to move around on the face and accentuates any and every wrinkle and or pore I have in my under eye area. I understand these are matte products however when it comes to the under eye area, matte is never a good idea in my opinion. It's better to have a moisturizing formula that can be made matte with setting powder (or baking if you want an extremely matte look).
Review for: Porcelain more...
I know this is sold as more of a concealer, but I've started using for a lot of different things and I love it! There's so many different shades and colors that I have a few darker shades that I use for contouring, as well as the Porcelain shade that matches my skin tone perfectly and is used as my main concealer. It has enough coverage that sometimes I just throw it on my face without any foundation or other product and I still feel covered enough! ALSO, the packaging is just so slick (& magnetic! I always have bobby pins stuck to the side of it) as well as really fun in the stick form. I usually stray away from stick products, but I just really love this one.
I really want to enjoy this product more than I do but the truth really comes down to the blend-ability bc it just doesn’t work. The pigmentation, application, packaging is all great but the second you try to blend this in, your foundation rubs off and your brush just soaks up the majority of the pigment. I normally find more success with a damp beauty blender but I may just need a higher end brush to get the best look with this.
I use this as a contour and I love it!! It’s buildable and, with the Sephora buffing contour brush I use, it blends well! I had been using Anastasia Beverly Hills powder contour palette in Medium and I’ve stopped using it altogether because I didn’t care for powder and how it brought up unwanted texture and it had a yellowish tone to it. (Although I’m basically tan I have a more pink, red tone.) Other contour sticks at my nearby pharmacies only have a light or medium option and are also very yellow-y and have a pathetic amount of product in their packaging. Fenty, to me, is fairly affordable at $25 and have a lot of product per stick. I use Mocha for a subtle natural contour all over and for extra oomph I add a smidge of espresso for my cheek contour.
Review for: Linen more...
I liked this concealer. It went on smooth and creamy. It blended well into the base and sat nicely on my skin. I did not experience any creasing or settling with this concealer. The shade range was very well suited for all skin colors and the formulation did well on my combination skin. My only criticism is the way it is applied. Application goes straight onto the skin unless you use a brush. Personally, I prefer an applicator to assist with getting under the eyes and in the corners.
I wanted to love this but I found that it pulled my makeup off and moved it all around when applying it directly to my face and when I tried to apply some to the back of my hand and then maybe apply to my face it was too dry to be applied that way. It’s not a total loss though as I now wear it as an eyeshadow and it is beautiful on the eyes. Very pigmented and blinding! I recommend their powder highlights over this, they’re much creamier and easy to apply!
Review for: Peach more...
LOVE LOVE LOVE FENTY BEAUTY I have combination skin often concealers/foundations run off my face over a period of time. RiRi’s matchstick formula has been my saving grace it has more of a drying matte finish so the concealer stays put. This color in particular works well to conceal the dark circles around my eyes due to the orange/peachy hue with brings color correction for my skin tone! She thought of everything! This is one of my favorites

This product is good, but not necessarily great. It’s not a super creamy stick, which is good for those who have oily skin or prefer a more matte finish. It does blend out well, despite being stiffer. The color is a great shade; it’s not a casket-ready grey contour but also isn’t orangey. You don’t get a lot of product for the price, and I don’t feel like this product does anything more than a more affordable alternative could do.
I can’t speak for the highlighting match stix but I use ‘mocha’ for contouring my face and it works amazing! It’s the perfect brown shade; has no orangey tint to it. It’s labeled as a cool tone but I think it’s very versatile for many skin tones. Also super easy to apply and blends easy. Not much more you could ask for in a contour stick!! Would recommend. I use this to contour and its a game changer. Mocha is a cool brown that goes well with my fair yellow undertone skin. I draw a 3 on each side of my face if you can imagine that ( hairline cheekbone jawline) then blend with a damp beauty blender it’s quick because it’s so smooth and creamy.. I was using rms before this and it was nice but so difficult to get out of the container.. this is my new HG!
