This one has me on the fence.
It definitely moisturizes—my lips felt smoother and less dry after just a couple uses. The texture is nice: thick but not sticky, and it spreads evenly without that greasy film some balms leave behind.
BUT… the scent is very much that “minty medicine cabinet” vibe. If you’re into that cooling tingle and slightly herbal mint smell, you’ll probably love it. If not, it might be a little too medicinal for daily use.
Also worth noting: it works better as a nighttime lip treatment than an on-the-go balm. No glossy shine, no flavor—just functional hydration with a side of menthol.
👄 Pros:
• Actually moisturizes dry lips
• No stickiness or residue
• Subtle, matte finish
👃 Cons:
• Strong minty-medicinal smell
• That tingle isn’t for everyone
• Not a glam or glossy lip balm—this one’s here to work
I received this vitamin e lip balm in an ipsy bag. It has a combo of castor seed oil and sunflower wax. I didn't care for it. It was too oily. It didn't stay on my lips very long. I didn't use it more then three times. Definitely a miss for me.
I received this in my ipsy bag and overall I like it. I like a thick consistency that melts into the skin. It is moisturizing but with it being something that you can apply on the lips it taste pretty badly. I like to use this on my lips during the night to go to sleep with.
