I've had this flat iron for about 5 to 6 years and it keeps going very smoothly on my hair, it does not burn it in any way. I use it to style my hair wavy or curly or to straighten it. It gets hot super fast. Easy to handle because the cord rotates so I don't get tangled with the cord.
