I really loveddddd this game y'all!! If you like games that has the following:

-main missions
-side missions
-ability to unlock many trophies
-ability to collect stuff in the game (wenja bracelets)
-ability to improve your character or their weapons of choice
-amazing graphics

THEN, you'll love this game as much as I do. The game is never ending it feels. There is a large map to explore, animals to discover, and things to find. At one point I let the missions take a backseat and spent a lot of time exploring caves trying to find artifacts. I enjoyed walking around with my Beast (my favorite was the strongest of the Sabertooth Tigers) and fighting the opposing tribe members.

I did always wish when you stumble upon the other tribe members who's only risk was calling the rest of the tribe, that there was a way to convert them to your tribe. That would've been cool.

Either way, with this story you really can invest yourself. Even though they're coming out with the next one, I recommend playing this. Heck, just having it to play when you are bored.

This game was a little bit of a disappointment. For a game with such a unique and interesting premise, a lot of things just seemed phoned in. For example, the map itself was the same as the map in Farcry 4- just overlaid with new locations. They used a lot of the same sound effects and visuals too. A lot of things just overlapped too much to feel interesting, despite the prehistoric setting. The storyline was lacking and I didn’t feel very invested in many of the characters. I also just didn’t feel very challenged for almost the entire game. Things I did like: I did like the different villains and the fact that you could go into the north territories. I also liked the fact that you could tame and ride different beasts. Overall though, there wasn’t enough interest to make this game truly great. Farcry 4 was a tough act to follow and this game just doesn’t stack up.

The visual effects are really nice in this game. You a basically run missions to beat the opposing tribal people and build your village up. Surviving during the primal time using your surroundings. This game is challenging.

I've never been into the Far Cry series, but Primal was right up my alley. I love open world, sandbox games--exploration and collecting ALL THE THINGS is what I'm about. I also loved the idea of training big cats as companions to help you hunt, and launching spears 100 feet away into an enemy. This was so unlike any other game I've played. 10,000 BC-era caveman on a quest to save your tribe. I also like that they spoke in their own language. It felt more authentic than if they were just speaking English.

I am sorry but this by far is the WORST Far Cry game I have played since day one. It was affordable, and now I realized why it was being sold at such a low cost from Game Stop. My favorite feature was literally ONLY the hunting. I didn't like this game at all and the only reason why it is receiving 3 stars is because it was still a Far Cry game. I beat it in under 20 hrs and sold it the next day. Rent it for a couple of days then buy it is my recommendation.

So let me start out by saying that I haven't played any other of the Far Cry games. I've seen my boyfriend play them, but this one interested me. I love the idea of going around the map completing missions. This one is a unique concept because you can tame animals and your weapons are primitive. The story is also fun I think. The graphics are pretty good with the cut-scenes, and it is just an all around fun game to play.

I bought FarCry Primal on eBay for $35 for my husband's birthday. He loves it! The game does NOT have guns so I wouldn't recommend for someone who only likes shooting games. It does have arrows and clubs, etc. Graphics are phenomenal along with the sounds and details. Taming animals and hunting with them is a first for FarCry and it's a nice addition. There are so many things to explore, unlock and collect, its crazy! I would recommend this game!

Not as good as Far cry 4 but still a decent game. It took me awhile to really get into it, but when I did I beat the story mode in like 2 days so that was a bummer. Like the other Far Cry series, there are a lot of side missions. It's cool you can "tame" beasts like the saber tooth And it gives a uniqueness by not having any guns in the game, seeing it's set before the age of guns. Give it a go if you can get it at a discounted price.

Now this one take me back to the bc days lol. I love how you can grow your own medicine and make your own weapons. It's so live in the game . This is why I give it 5 Stars. And also the pets you can have are actually real animals that are extinct or at the zoo

Finally beat FarCry Primal. This game was so awesome! If you want to tame and control amazing beasts, defend/save your tribe that is on the brink of extinction and master the art of adaptation, please do yourself a favor and get this game. The graphics are insane, and there is an insane amount of main and side quests.
