We use this in a mix not for dogs but for ferrets. Grain-Free is important for their nutrition as grain containing diets have been linked with a higher occurance of insulinoma in ferrets. It's a decent food to get them on a grain free diet while on the way to working them into a raw diet. And it's far superior to feeding them zupreem or marshall's.
