I received this Eva NYC freshen up dry shampoo along with dry conditioner from influenster for review. Before I tried this product, I had no idea that dry conditioners actually existed. I wasn't a fan of dry shampoo in the past because it always dried my hair out and left it looking rough. But Eva NYC's dry shampoo has such a light formula that I didn't feel weighed down by it. It's the perfect dry shampoo if your hair tends to get a little oily or even a little sweaty during the day and you need to freshen up for a date or event. I used it after spending some time outside in the heat to freshen up for an impromptu dinner invite. It was great to not have to rush to take a shower and dry my hair before going out. I simply sprayed a little of the dry shampoo on my roots and combed it out and my hair looked just as fresh and clean as when I styled it that morning. This is a great product to have on hand. I highly recommend it.

I'm in love with this stuff!!
It says it cleans your hair without water, absorbs excess oil, & is for ALL hair types and guess what? It totally works! My hair is no joke and virtually nothing works on it. Hairspray doesn't hold, leave-in's make me greasy, curling products don't work, and if I don't have my John Frieda shampoo and conditioner my hair throws the tantrum of the century.

Don't even get me started on maintance, I will fully admit that it's common for me to go three days without washing my hair because to blow dry and straighten it every day would never happen, it's such a long ordeal for my wild, thick, full maine.

With that said, the concept of dry shampoo always seemed way too good to be true. On my day three of not washing I definetly am not a huge fan of how it looks. It's doable, but certainly not day one or two hair. A product that can get you through that third day looking better than it normally should would be awesome. My hair though, it's thick, there's tons of it, and it responds to nothing, so it certainly wouldn't magically look better because I sprayed an aerosol can at it. This is 100% what I thought, so I never bought one. I was so wrong. This stuff is magic in a can!

I think for me, because my hair is so thick and stubborn I would go through more than most faster than most, so I would definetly need a larger can. The smell is ok, at first I didn't really like it too much, but it sort of grew on me and now I think I do; weird I know. It does what it's supposed to though! My hair almost instantly went from flat and sort of greasy to much lighter, fuller, and dryer; it was astonishing and amazing. This is probably the best new product I've tried in a VERY long time and I'm pretty excited it exsists. lol If it works on my hair I can't imagine it won't work on everyone's; I totally and completely recommend it to all. =)

I used this 3 days after straightening my half curly half processed, thick hair. Fabulous fragrance and it's extended my look to about a week+. Great for on the go. No dryness or excessive residue whatsoever. Even better followed up by Eva NYC dry conditioner. I didn't even know dry conditioner existed until I received a complimentary dry conditioner (as well as the dry shampoo) from Influenster in the Tinsel Voxbox. These two products are total game changers. The conditioner leaves hair soft, shiny, frizz-less, voluminous and aromatic. No complaints. These are going to be my new go-tos for my straightened hair. Definitely recommend!

I'd like to tell you guys about the @evahairnyc Freshen Up Dry Shampoo.

I picked up this particular product because I already have there 10 in 1 Hair Primer as well as their Therapy Session Hair Mask, so I thought I would try out their dry shampoo this time.

First of all, THIS PACKAGING THO! It's not only gorgeous and eye-catching but it's perfect for Summer too!

The scent of the product is nice, just your typical dry shampoo smell.
And it's really easy to use. Directions on the can: Shake the can before use. Hold 10-12 inches away from your scalp and spray lightly for even coverage. Use your fingertips to massage the product through your hair. Style as desired.
I thought that it did a pretty decent job of getting rid of oils. I have fine hair so I think if this dry shampoo were to have more of a powdery finish, I think it would be able to absorb oils better on my scalp.

I only paid 99 cents for this! How did I do it? A while back I posted about the deal I found thanks to Tina @freestufffinder. Certain @evahairnyc products had a rebate tag on them so I picked up some @evahairnyc products and when I got home from @ultabeauty I mailed in my rebate card and receipt and then got a coupon for $9 off an @evahairnyc product in the mail. The dry shampoo was $11.99 and I used my $9 off coupon plus a $2 coupon that was attached to the dry shampoo, making it only 99 cents!

Have you guys tried @evahairnyc Freshen Up Dry Shampoo? If not, what's your favorite dry shampoo?

I got the small travel size in my Ipsy bag. I did like it, i am only giving 4 stars because i do hair and always like to use professional products. That being said, this smells and works exactly the same as Amika. The whole line is the same as Amika. I don’t have anything against it, I use Amika and sell it to clients, i can get Amika at my price with my license. But it’s so odd that they’re so similar! The smell, the products, the packaging. If you read also on them the address is the same. So they must be made at the same place and then just packaged differently and one sent to Ulta and one sent to salon supply stores. Oh well! I still liked this. I wouldn’t buy it from Ulta because I get Amika but I would use it again if I received it.

Well I didn’t dislike this product as such but definitely I expected more from it. I had high hopes for this to work with a bit oily hair ( natural oil from scalp) but it didn’t 😞
I followed the instructions on the dry shampoo and sprayed it on my hair and comb it out but my hair still looked oily. I gave it couple more tries but every time I was disappointed. Also if you are sensitive to sprays and fragrance then this is definitely not the right product for you. In all I would not recommend this dry shampoo.

I received this product complimentary of Influenster and I’m in freaking love with it. I had been looking for a dry shampoo for when I straightened my hair but I was never sure which brand was good and which would work for my hair. I have naturally curly hair so when I straighten it for an hour and a half I want it to look good without getting oily. Not only does this product get the job done it also smells amazing. Also, I should mention that I have brown hair and haven’t had a issue with it looking white like some others I have tried. This company also offers a dry conditioner for the ends of your hair too, which I find is genius being that my ends are always so dry where the top is oily. Love this brand. Definitely recommend.

I have never liked dry shampoos before because they always made my hair look like I put Baby powder on it and it still looked greasy-BUT not this product! It really did make my 3 day no wash hair look like I just got it styled and blow dried! I was very impressed! Plus it smells really good! I got lots of compliments on my hair when I went out the first time after using it and thought it’s a keeper!! Plus it’s very affordable!

I've actually never been so in love with the product as I am with Eva-Nye dry shampoo. I got a free one ounce sample from Influenster for testing purposes and then all I have to do is give an honest review. I'm going to start by saying what I like about the packaging. Packaging has got a vibrant yellow and orange mixed with pink color cover which I found very beautiful. On the back of the packaging is directions and ingredients. One of the signs on the back is a rabbit for those of you who don't know what that means, it means they do not test on animals. It's also real on the back of the packaging is directions and ingredients. One of the signs on the back is a rabbit for those of you who don't know what that means, it means they do not test on animals. It's also in a recyclable packaging. After using this product I'm seriously considering buying the whole entire line which I have found for sale at Khol's, Ulta and target. I've used a lot of dry shampoos and they normally give you a weird white powdery look but this dry shampoo is so different! I have no issue with any powdery look or feel and I swear this product gives me extra volume. The reason I've tried a lot of dry shampoos is I can't wash my hair every day because I am a single in school mom but my hair seems to always be pretty greasy and this is still the best dry shampoo have ever used. My hair looks so fresh and clean after I've used it. Another thing I love about this dry shampoo is the smell, it's not overpowering but it's very feminine scent that I'm in love with. I've never had a dry shampoo with a scent anywhere near as good as this one. I've gotten so many compliments from people asking me what perfume I was wearing and then them being surprised by the fact that it was just a dry shampoo!

While I am not typically a huge fan of dry shampoos, in a pinch they are an integral part (or should be an integral) part of every girl's emergency beauty products.  We all have that day we are running late and look like a greaseball.  That is when I use dry shampoo.

That being said...I have very dark CURLY hair so it is incredibly difficult for me to find a dry shampoo that doesn't leave my hair looking....grey.  I emphasize curly because the resolution for the "grey" is to brush it out to distribute evenly.  No...No...rule #1 of curly hair is do not brush.  So this is why it is incredibly difficult for me to 1. find and 2.  truly enjoy a dry shampoo.

Eva Nyc Freshen Up Dry Shampoo was the first nearly translucent one I have found.  There was still some very slight hardly noticeable color from the spray (I'm probably the only one that even noticed) but it was leaps and bounds better than any other one I've tried.  And the scent is pleasant.

I give it 4 stars because someone out there has got to come up with a dry shampoo for really dark hair without leaving some slight hint that maybe we used a dry shampoo today.

Does this leave a powdery residue in your hair? I'm very interested in trying but stuff like this often shows up powdery in my hair.
