I did not go through perimenopause. I had no idea it was coming until I needed a total hysterectomy and found out I could not take hormone replacements. About a month post surgery menopause hit me like a freight train. The hot flashes were like nothing I’ve ever experienced. They were averaging about one every 45 minutes to an hour. I was miserable. I went on google to look up natural remedies that worked quickly and came across Estroven. At the beginning it was amazing and for a couple weeks I had maybe one a day. You’re supposed to take for 3 months straight at least. I got through those few weeks with almost nothing and then I started having them again regularly. Around the 3 month mark I saw that I was back to 1 or 2 a day and much less severe. It’s not the same as hormone replacement but it’s amazing. It works and it helps so much. I’m not sure how I would be dealing if I had nothing to counteract the hot flashes and I’m glad I don’t have to find out.
