delicious! My god, this is perfect. Some people complain that it's too
light, or not balmy enough, but that's simply because these are natural
oils. Thick petroleum is much tackier and what most are used to, and
synthetic fragrances can be added to make the scent stronger, most
people are accustomed to overly potent things. However, these are
beautifully formulated. I've attempted balms with natural sheabutter and
coconut oil at home, with essential oils, and it's difficult to create a
well balanced blend like this. Natural flavors are more subtle, and if
you take a break from conventional products, the organic ones begin to
become more pleasing. I no longer try to make my own stuff, because it's
not worth the time. These are neat, lovely, and easy to order, so I
just gave up and I'm happy to use EOS. It's one of the few things I
prefer to just buy and not create from home.

Review for: Summer Fruit, Strawberry Sorbet, Sweet Mint, Blueberry Acai more...
I am always prone to chapped lips when there is drastic weather change. I've given this brand of lip balm a chance multiple times. It does keep your lips well hydrated for the first few applications. But over time, I felt like my lips would dry out much faster and the product wears off quickly as you get to the middle of it since I always find myself having to reapply.

I do agree that the packaging is very cute and extremely easy to find in my backpack and purse since all I need to do is feel around for it. However, don't expect that it'll easily fit in your jean pockets though (girl pockets are wayyyyy too tiny!) unless you want a unwanted bulges.

Their scents are pleasant! My favorites include the blueberry acai, strawberry sorbet, and the mint scent. However the summer/passionfruit scent is not even there so if you're looking for no fragrance, this scent is for you.

Review for: Honeysuckle Honeydew more...
At this point its kind of funny to even review this product since it is well known, but here we go! This beautiful sphere or semi-sphere leaves your lips nice and soft. If you don't lose it it is worth the $3 that you spend to keep your lip from crusting. I personally don't like heavily scented lip balms and prefer fruity smells than strong sophisticated ones. When I lick my lips I want to get my daily recommended daily serving of fruit which may not be a feature of this product but it should. Anyways, Honeysuckle Honeydew has that soft subtle smell of everybody favorite fruit to bag on, honeydew. All in all, if you need a lip balm , EOS is the no brain option that you can count on working. For extra credit, Costco sells these in bulk if you don't care about the scent/flavor or getting your recommended daily servings of fruit.  eos® Organic Smooth Sphere Lip Balm

Review for: Sweet Mint more...
I discovered my "egg balm" as I call it years ago as I was waiting to check out at the grocery store. I thought the shape was cool so I decided to try it out! This is a decent lip balm, it makes my lips feel velvety smooth although I have to reapply a lot. The shape is the biggest problem with this product. I like to carry my lip balm with me, and the round shape doesn't make that easy. I have stopped buying the brand for that specific reason. I can't carry it around with me unless I'm carrying a purse (which I rarely do). Also, the balm gets to a point where you can't easily rub it on your lips anymore. You have to use your finger, and I'm not a fan of digging my finger into my lip balm to get it on my lips. It's not sanitary and I don't like the feeling of lip balm on my fingers. If they could improve the packaging, I would for sure start buying again!

EOS (Evolution of Smooth) makes some of THE BEST lip balms out there!!! Before I begin my review... I'd like to mention that those of you who have tried EOS, whether you love it or not... it is NOT a 'chapstick' it is a LIP BALM, for goodness sakes. Chapstick is a friggin' brand of lip balm... okay, now that I got that out of the way... I absolutely LOVE EOS, the formulas are perfect, there are no parabens, phthalates, chemicals, etc. and the flavors are just amazing! With that said, the only thing that I would change, would be the container. I do realize that about three of their formulas are also available in stick form, but I would eventually love to see all of them in stick form, because carrying around an egg shaped lip balm in my pocket doesn't work. And, it takes up a lot of room in my clutch or wristlet.

If it could sum up this product it one word, it would be this...NO. To be fair, I really tried to like it. I even tried different "flavors" hoping that the formula would be different, but each time I was disappointed. First, let me begin by saying how inconvenient the packaging it. It's a cute little dome shaped lip balm that when opened is shaped like a sphere. However, once you use half the product, you cant access the other half! You either have to use your finger, scoop out the remaining product into a different packaging solution, or throw it out all together. Next, the formula. I don't know what exact ingredients are in this, but when applied it doesn't moisturize your lips, it just leaves a waxy residue sitting on top of your lips and never penetrates into the skin to give you, you know, ACTUAL moisture. It dries out your lips, forcing you to add more product while only making the issue worse (instead of supple lips imagine dry, cracked lips). This is a hard pass from me. If you want my advice on a cheaper lip balm, stick with  ChapStick® Lip Balm 0.15 oz. Stick or  Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm .

Review for: Strawberry Sorbet, Honeysuckle Honeydew more...
I finally decided to jump on the EOS train after years of it being popular because I typically like a chapstick that fits in my pocket (one of the cons I think is the bulky packaging). I purchased the strawberry sorbet flavor and was given the honeysuckle on in a gift bag. Overall, I love the scent and how it initially feels on your lips however, I feel like it dries my lips out. I use this almost every morning and night after I brush my teeth and I feel like my lips are pretty dry soon afterwards instead of feeling soft and moisturized for a while after like I get with a Burts Bees or vaseline brand. I also feel like it doesn't last me as long as other brands even though it is more expensive. The scent is nice but I'm not super happy with the formula.

To start is is a VERY pricey product for what it is and I have found it ends up drying my lips out more which in turn I will buy more thinking "Its just winter" but then I switch to something else and my lips are not as chapped after a few hours. I love the packaging and the presentation but for the price and how it leaves my lips feeling even after going through one it just doesn't seem worth it to me. I have tried this product so many times and I am always disappointed. You can find it pretty much anywhere but this year I will be sticking with good old carmex

I purchased eos Sphere Lip Balm after many people raved about how soft their lips were since my lips are always super chapped Summer and Winter.  I thought the packaging was super super cute and trendy so I went ahead and made my purchase.  For me the price was steep at near $4 for one sphere but I went ahead and purchase.  I used for several months and it looked like i never used the sphere at all!  I thought I really was getting a good deal until one day there was a dark growth on my balm.  I went ahead online and did some research and found out that these products CAN MOLD!  I am definite that this is what happened with my sphere.  It went immediately into the trash and I will never purchase another one!

Review for: Summer Fruit more...
I thought the packaging was adorable which is why I bought this in the first place. However, turns out it's all for show. Sure, it had a wonderful smell. But first of all, after using it for around 3 days, I discovered that I'm allergic to it. It creates an awful irritated red "ring" around my lips. My skin started to peel and flake. It hurt to touch it. It took me around 3 weeks to heal. I am also never allergic to anything. So if you're serious about lip balm, make sure to invest in something that contains ingredients that are healthy for the human body!

Secondly, the texture of this balm is not ideal. Feels hard on the lips and almost like I'm applying wax on my lips. I'm really disappointed. Don't waste your money!
