The Emerson SmartSet Wireless Charging Alarm Clock Radio is a perfect addition for your nightstand if you need a regular clock like me. As soon as you plug in your clock radio you will see it start tuning it to the correct time. There is an am/fm radio (and a radio memory button), 2 alarm clocks, a temperature display, and a phone charger. There is also a battery backup in the event of a power outage. I tested the phone charger with my iPhone that has a thin rubber case, it showed that the phone was charging, the bottom right has a lightening bolt indicator, (when the device is charging a light to the right is blinking) my phone only charged to around 60% overnight even though it showed it had been charging. The Emerson SmartSet is a good clock, but could be great. It’s sorely missing a Bluetooth component to be able to stream music. Nighttime music streaming with the perfect clock. That’s a win.

Really nice alarm clock and super easy to use and set up. I love that it automatically knew the date and time (I did have to change the time zone) . There are two alarms and it has multiple setting for everyday, weekday, and weekend only alarms. The top charging spot doesn’t work for my phone because I have a magnet holder on it that messes with the charging so I couldn’t test that but overall it is easy to use and has large numbers.

Works pretty well, numbers are big enough to see without glasses so that was definitely a plus. My niece decided she liked it for her alarm for school so it’s also appealing to kids.
