You put a pea sized drop on your palm, and to activate, you clap your hands together, and it will start to produce these fibers. Then you can put it anywhere on your hair and it becomes fuller, and with a lift and volume. It adds amazing volume to your hair. It's a little tacky at first, znd feels like spider webs but it actually works. It's also fortified with many beneficial minerals and vitamins for your hair, that it's a win win situation. I really like the effect it has on my hair and how much better it looked.
