I didn’t know what to expect from the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant, but now I get why it’s been around forever. First impression? The texture is thick, glossy, almost like a balm—not your typical “cream.” And I’m not gonna lie… the smell is kinda herbal/medicinal. Not my favorite at all 😅 BUT. This stuff is like a multi-purpose lifesaver. Dry lips? Fixed. Cracked skin? Gone. Random dry patches? Instantly better. I use the tiniest amount and it gives that healthy, dewy glow—almost like a natural gloss for skin. It’s also amazing for cuticles and even taming flyaways when I’m desperate. It’s definitely not an everyday all-over moisturizer for me because it can feel a bit heavy, but for targeted areas? 10/10. Repurchase? Yes… even with that smell 😭

I treated myself to this in a set at the airport and I’m so glad I did! It lasts as a barrier on the skin for so long, it’s slightly greasy I would say but it’s so good at helping with my dry skin that I don’t mind! My hands instantly feel hydrated after using this and it’s a good to pair it with the normal EA hand cream.

Lovely creamy texture which hydrates,moisturises and protects for most of the day. This cream easily absorbs into skin and my mums face always has a lovely glow Lovely creamy texturecwith a nice creamy scent. Quality moisturiser cream at an affordable price.
