e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip
- "this product was an impulse buy for me. i saw that my local store was clearing them out and i noticed it and decided to try it.at first i wasn't sure what to do with it. facial whip? ok... still not sure what that means but yes after opening i realised that it would be an amazing highlighter.i bought the shade lilac petal and i think it looks stunning as a cheek highlight.i personally don't use too much as i feel that it quite heavy on the face and a little goes a long way. i apply with my fingers and then dust a little extra highlight powder over the top.overall for the price i paid, it's not a bad highlight at all." in 597 reviews
- "It is a bit sticky though so what I like to do is mix it with a bit of moisturizer, a BB cream or even some liquid foundation and then apply it to th apples of my cheeks, along my cheek bones and maybe on my brow bone if I am going for a slightly less "made up" look." in 5 reviews
This is a very nice illuminating cream. I have only used once. I applied with my UD All Nighter foundation and it added a nice glow to the matte foundation. The smell isn't the greatest but it disappates quickly.
This is a surprisingly great highlighter! I've used it three times so far, and it holds up well. I have combination skin (oily forehead, dry cheeks), and it seems to work well all-over. It has a natural shimmering effect for me, and it doesn't cost much, either! I'll probably buy this again.
It's a dollar and provides a nice glow in an easy to blend cream. Layers well under powder highlight when you want that extra glowy look. Great for cool skin tones. Not glittery at all but sets pretty quickly.
My oily skin can do better without this product tbh, it's really sticky and wouldn't apply right without another products help, like my bb cream or moisturizer. Least I got it on sale.. but I wouldn't buy again
I haven't actually used this one. I'm not 100% sure why this one of all the ines I have tried even popped up. Right I am just rambling on so I can finish my snaps. So I put 3 stars because I'd be willing to try this
I think this product is a great deal! It can be used on the apples of the cheeks, as a shimmer eye shadow or on the brow bone or corners of your eyes to add a nice highlight, and can even be used as a lip tint. The problem is that it dries out my lips so I solve the problem by putting a bit of chapstick on my lips prior to applying it. All in all, I like having a multipurpose cosmetic that fits in my pocket.
For the price , this wasn't that bad. It was like $6 when I seen it and purchased it. I just couldn't find a good use of it or didn't know how to properly use it that it didn't work good for me. I don't recommend as much.
It's okay!! It smells like fruit pebbles and has a great feel to it, but if I put it on under my makeup it kind or slide around and if I use on top of makeup it cakes...I'm still playing around with it because I like the shades and how light and luminous it is, but I'm not quite a believer yet
This is definitely a multipurpose product because it can be used as a highlighter for the face or brow bone. It is small enough for traveling but still has lots of product in its tube. The best part is the price.
Product was good for the price. I just prefer powder over shimmer highlighters. I probably won't purchase it again but if you're the type to like creme better then I'd recommend this for you. Easy to find also
