e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip
- "this product was an impulse buy for me. i saw that my local store was clearing them out and i noticed it and decided to try it.at first i wasn't sure what to do with it. facial whip? ok... still not sure what that means but yes after opening i realised that it would be an amazing highlighter.i bought the shade lilac petal and i think it looks stunning as a cheek highlight.i personally don't use too much as i feel that it quite heavy on the face and a little goes a long way. i apply with my fingers and then dust a little extra highlight powder over the top.overall for the price i paid, it's not a bad highlight at all." in 597 reviews
- "It is a bit sticky though so what I like to do is mix it with a bit of moisturizer, a BB cream or even some liquid foundation and then apply it to th apples of my cheeks, along my cheek bones and maybe on my brow bone if I am going for a slightly less "made up" look." in 5 reviews
The E.l.f shimmering facial whip is great, it allows for a perfect amount of shimmer without looking like a christimas tree! it leaves a nice finish, it is sheer and easily blended for a perfect outcome! Everyone should have this product in their makeup bag
I love this product! It only costs $1 and it comes with a lot of product. Basically you apply a small amount on your finger and apply like a highlighter. Only downside is that it does dry really quickly leaving your face splotchy. However, for the price I would recommend.
This stuff is only a dollar and it works very well for that price. the only thing is that it can make your foundation look a little patchy once you blend it in. It does have very nice color payoff and color I have very oily skin and it lasts on it very well.
This is such a good, cheap, baller highlighter. The colors are lovely, and it gives you that highlight without the sparkles. You can't be shmearing it all over because it will move your other makeup, so just take your time. A little dab will do you just fine!
This highlighter is he best. It's the first time I purchase a highlighter and I'm impressed. A little goes along way and that's what I love about it. Mine is the pinky shade and my skin is light to medium with yellow undertones. Perfect highlighter for a natural glow.
This is a wonderful product that is cheap and pigmented. It leaves a gentle highlight that isn't too harsh. I like to use it on my brow bone, my cheekbone, and the cupids bow of my lips. It is pink and subtle on really pale skin and I would definitely buy it again.
I love these facial whips! They are so versatile, and the colors are amazing! I use them as highlighters, eye shadow primer, etc. The facial whips blend out so nice and can be built up if needed. I love the price point, and they are easy to get your hands on.
I bought one of these a long time ago, from what I remember about this you can use it on your cheeks, lips, eyeshadow and even as a highlight. It is multi purposed and is very affordable at $1.00! I would recommend if you are looking for cheap alternatives!
This is a big negative for me. I didn't like the way it looked on my skin, I didn't like the formula, I didn't like the texture. It wasn't as pigmented as I would have liked. I am more of a ABH fan or even the freakin Wet and Wild highlight thing is better than this
I bought this for a dollar and it may have been the best $1 ever spent! I got the shade precious petals and it's so pretty! It also somehow smells like fruit loops which is amazing! Not too glittery or chunky. I use it under foundation on the high points of my cheeks for a glow
Q & A
Would this look good on extremely fair skin?
Does this actually highlight, or does it just add shimmer to the skin?
Is this product easy to blend? I'm kind of hesitant to use a facial whip vs a powder highlighter. Any help would be awesome, thanks! I love E.L.F. products :D
Is the formula creamy or does it feel a little grainy when applying it?
How good is the coverage?
