- "My eyelashes point downward when I wake up in the morning, so I have to use an eyelash curler everyday. My eyelashes are very stubborn when it comes to curling so finding a curler that actually works on mine it very hard to do. This is the only one that I've used that has actually gotten the job done! My only complaint is that the pads don't last too long but they do give you 2 when you buy it." in 64 reviews
- "It gets the job done but its too bulky for me to really grab my lashes so I have to curl them a few times to get all my lashes curled." in 9 reviews
- "I was honestly afraid of trying this because I was afraid I'd cut my lashes but it works great and if I break it it won't be a big de because it's a $1 ." in 8 reviews
- "I really like this curler because its a good shape for my eyes and for a dollar it really well made and there just nothing wrong with it." in 7 reviews
- "Indeed this works well, and really does its own jobs, the edges that touches your eyes are very pointy and pokes your eyes also, the silicon is very weak and gets ripped easily " in 6 reviews
This is the only curler I've ever had so I have nothing to compare it to, but I've had it for like 6 years and haven't replaced it. So it's obviously not bad lol. It curls my lashes which is what I wanted. One downside though, after the first few times I used it, the soft black rubber things that you put your eyelashes between came off. You can push them back in a few times but you eventually have to replace them. They came with one little pack of replacement ones which I have used and I threw the old ones out. Overall I like this product
I can’t remember exactly if the brand of my eyelash curler is Elf, but it looks identical to this picture. I’ve had it for so long, I cannot remember. Lol. I’ve had it for so long because it is wonderful. I have not had any problems with the rubber and not being able to clean them. This has nothing to do with the brand of curler, but I’m not one to have things so close to my eye and it honestly freaks me out having the curler so close to my eye. But besides me having that problem, I love my curler!
This was my second ever eyelash curler and my favorite! I have one now that is very similar but I can’t remember the brand (it has a pink handle?)... Anyway, the shape is really nice and fits my eye well, it’s affordable, and it lasted a long time. I only replaced it because the handle started to slip off and I didn’t feel like trying to glue it... but that was after having it for probably 5 years.
I think any eyelash curler does the job but I got this one just to have and use. You really don’t need an expensive eyelash curler because it’s all meant to do the same thing. My eyelashes are long and look good without curling but using this just gives them an extra lift and really is attractive with my eye shape.
If I could give this no stars I would. I’m returning today because I absolutely hate it. I’ve never hated a product from elf, I love the company so much. This product is terrible though. It was hard to curl my lashes number one and number two it just didn’t curl them AT ALL. I don’t think I’’m doing anything wrong because my normal revlon eyelash curler works wonderfully. I don’t know, just unfortunately didn’t work for my lashes. I was hoping it would for the great price tag so I am a little disappointed. Hopefully they will come out with a better one, who knows :( Still love you elf!!!!
I like this product alot because it curls my lashes so well, and you can press hard without breaking it (which is great for the times I'm in a hurry and get careless with it). Other than that the black strip on the curling part doesn't stay on for the longest time and the replacement comes off way easier.
Meh, I didn’t really see much of a difference in my lashes before and after. I bought this product at Walmart I think, and it was pretty cheap $1-2 I’m pretty sure. I don’t think I’ll buy this product again, I’ll stick to curling my lashes with my finger.
I honestly really want to give this a higher review just cause this was my one and only eyelash curler for years when I just started with makeup. I repurchased it like 5 times but it’s truthfully, not the best. It was okayyyy but since then I’ve used other curlers and definitely noticed a difference. If you’re not financially stable enough to want to waste 10+ dollars on an eyelash curler, I would still recommend this. It’s just not worth it if you are really into makeup like me.
Love this curler, especially for the price! I think I got this for a couple bucks and I have it in my to-go makeup bag just so it’s always on me. It hasn’t failed me throughout the years and I’d go back and buy another if I needed to!
Q & A
Do you curl you eyelash before or after you put your mascara on ?
Is this is a good curler? do you recommend any other ones? (-: thanks!
Does this really curl your lashes?
I see so many people who rave about this, but I had a bad experience with it. The padding split in the middle from the top metal part and my eyelashes began to get stuck in there and were getting pulled out. I have used a few curlers but this is the first one that did that to me on the first couple of uses. One other curler did that to me but it was after almost a year of using it. Has that happened to anyone else with this one?
Can you buy new pads for it from like Sophera or do I just need to get a new curler?
