  • "Best eyeliner for a quick and easy winged liner look. Dries super fast so there is little risk of smudging. " in 158 reviews
  • "I bought this eyeliner in black, and it's my go to liner now. It doesn't smudge around like kohl, stays in place all day, and is easy to hold. It's like holding a fat marker. The tip is fine and the harder you press/bend it makes a thicker line. " in 148 reviews
  • "Very impressed with this eyeliner! The tip is fine enough to get the thinnest wings I've ever drawn! Definitely would buy again. Very easy to use and dries quickly. " in 89 reviews

To start, I love E.L.F. products. This is not a bad review because I don't like the brand. I love this brand. Most of my collection is E.L.F. disclaimer out of the way, this eyeliner is a hard pass. I will go out of my way to discourage anyone from buying it unless they want to look smurfed out for days.
The eyeliner itself is decent. I like the felt tip. It was so easy to work with. I even loved the color. Such an intense deep blue. But. The color becomes quite the problem if you make a mistake and need to clean up your line. It smudged out everywhere, this bright hecking blue. I could not get the blue off of my face and I used my Hado Labo oil cleanser and micellar water and my face wash. Y'all. I cried yesterday and my tears were dyed blue from the liner I had been unable to get off. That's too much for me. I'm very sad to rate an elf product so low, but even for $3 I expected better of them.

This was one of the worse eyeliners ive ever tried... The applicator is super sharp, nut there is only product to about half the applicator. The applicator just drags on your eye and cant make a simple straight line and i dont felt like concealing it or doing my eyes first. it is super pigemntes at first then once it dries down, it becomes super grey and really streaky. It also starts to dry up and practically crack off my eyelid. theres no way of making this product look good:(

I have used this eyeliner for a while. When you first get it the eyeliner is great. The pen is easy to use and gives you a smooth precise line. The color is dark and stays on semi well. However, as this product gets old the very thin tip starts to wear out and even though there is plenty of ink left in the pen the messed up applicator makes your lines look a little wide or smudged. However, for 4-5 dollars you can’t beat it!

I don't use eye liner often simply because my eyes are sensitive, and most eye liner makes them irritated and watery and I like the more natural look. However, there are some days where I want an eye liner to make my eyes pop. I was excited about this eye liner because it was an ink liner I thought it would be easier to apply and get the look I wanted. That was definitely the case for the first eye, but when I went to put eyeliner on the second eye it was as if the ink had ran out. With just using on one eye! I thought that maybe it was just the particular one I picked up so I went and bought another because it was so cheap, and I loved the results of the one eye. However, this was the case with the second one I bought too. Needless to say I will not be purchasing another one of these. SO my search is still on for a good liquid eye liner.

I rarely, if ever, give reviews that are less than 3 stars, so you know I’m serious when I give this one only one star. That being said, I wouldn’t spend even the few dollars it cost for this. It bleeds and there is no lasting power, it just sort of crumbles. It doesn’t dry to a matte finish either, and you can’t go over it because it grabs the liner underneath and takes it off. Also, the felt tip dried out at the very end very quickly, so I had a very hard time working with this. I eventually just pushed down really hard on my hand to create a small puddle of product, then used a small liner brush, but it’s a huge waste of product, and it ended up staining my hand. So yeah, i wouldn’t recommend this one. I tried the NYX matte liner and that one works way better; it’s like $6 which is more than this one but I got it on sale at target for $4.50 or something.

This eyeliner is great for the price. Super cheap, but it's not cheaply made. It doesn't smear or feather out. The pen make it super easy to apply, and the felt tip makes it easy to create a perfect wing. You can make it thin or thick. e.l.f. Intense Ink Eyeliner

This was my go to eyeliner pen this past six months, and I use it so much I pretty much ran it dry. It is kind of long, but you can basically use it as a stamp for winged eyeliner if you want it completely straight and precise. At three dollars a tube, it’s affordable and it’s easily found in almost every drug store and now even at Ulta.

I decided to buy this one day while shopping with my daughter's.  Bad mistake.   Went home and decided to try it out .  I instantly started this itching burning feeling on my eye lid from doing the cat eye look. And I had hives on my eye lid!!!!  I couldn't return it obviously because I opened and used the product . But if you have sensitive skin and allergies I highly recommend do not buy this.   I loved how it went on great and got the look I was going for , but I regret putting it on and the aftermath of the hives.  I am not sure what is exactly in this , but beware if you have allergies and sensitive skin.

This review is for the shade 'Blackest Black'. Overall my experience with the e.l.f Intense Ink Eyeliner is positive - the product is great, however my inability to put liner on my eyes is the only issue. I did swatch it on my hand & *tried* to apply it to my eye, so I can still comment on the look, feel, & overall application. It is a beautiful black..but the darkest? - no, that's a bold claim. It applies smoothly, it is very wet feeling, though it is not runny & does not bleed. It dries pretty fast to give you a finish that is between matte & satin. I can't comment on it's wearability, though it was easy to remove with a makeup wipe, but be forewarned it does smear when you do this!

This is a pretty good felt tip liner....The eyeliner has good pigmentation, and is really easy to apply. The tip could maybe be a little more stiff, but it works well. The eyeliner does not transfer super easily, which is great for a drugstore eyeliner. However , this product can sometimes be hit or miss. There are times that I’ve bought this product, and have had the felt tip already slightly dried out, making the eyeliner more difficult to apply.

Has anyone had an experience where they opened up a new product and it was already dried out? This has happened to me with other elf eyeliners and I'm skeptical about trying this one

I want to know how easy the Elf eyeliner is to apply. Will it stay in place? Does it slide or face on your lids? Just wondering. I want to learn how to do the winged eyeline and wonder if this is a good product to try for that? e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner
