I don't use eye liner often simply because my eyes are sensitive, and most eye liner makes them irritated and watery and I like the more natural look. However, there are some days where I want an eye liner to make my eyes pop. I was excited about this eye liner because it was an ink liner I thought it would be easier to apply and get the look I wanted. That was definitely the case for the first eye, but when I went to put eyeliner on the second eye it was as if the ink had ran out. With just using on one eye! I thought that maybe it was just the particular one I picked up so I went and bought another because it was so cheap, and I loved the results of the one eye. However, this was the case with the second one I bought too. Needless to say I will not be purchasing another one of these. SO my search is still on for a good liquid eye liner.

This is the worst eyeliner I’ve ever bought, which maybe shouldn’t be surprising considering the price, but e.l.f. has MUCH better quality eyeliners available for only a couple dollars more. It’s unfortunate this particular one is so bad because I LOVE the felt tip applicator. It creates a really smooth line over the lid and makes winged eyeliner so beautifully sharp. Sadly the liner itself is terrible. It dries quickly, but the color fades from an inky black to a greyish... blah color once completely dry. It has no lasting power, smudges off easily, and my wing is entirely gone once a few hours have passed if the liner is not touched up. Instead of this one I’d recommend the e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner if you want to try a different, way better e.l.f. liner.

This review is for the shade 'Blackest Black'. Overall my experience with the e.l.f Intense Ink Eyeliner is positive - the product is great, however my inability to put liner on my eyes is the only issue. I did swatch it on my hand & *tried* to apply it to my eye, so I can still comment on the look, feel, & overall application. It is a beautiful black..but the darkest? - no, that's a bold claim. It applies smoothly, it is very wet feeling, though it is not runny & does not bleed. It dries pretty fast to give you a finish that is between matte & satin. I can't comment on it's wearability, though it was easy to remove with a makeup wipe, but be forewarned it does smear when you do this!

My search for the best eyeliner pen is over. This is so easy to use and stays on even in the rain! Many eyeliner pens end up running as the day goes on but it's been a full day and no running at all! The finish is matte which I love and easy to take off with either soap and water or makeup remover. I have green eyes and they really pop with this intense cat eye. Also totally worth a try if you're new to eyeliner pens! It's so cheap 😍

A very nice eyeliner pen! I honestly didn’t find anything wrong with the formula/ink (went on pigmented and dried matte... didn’t appear to smudge *unless you’ve had it for awhile*). The price really is unbeatable.. even if you don’t like it, you’re not losing much! The applicator did kind of start peeling off and deteriorating in a way.. I’ve had this happen with a lot of eyeliner pens, though (so I suppose it’s normal.. especially if they’re cheap!) it’s not my go to or favorite, but I definitely recommend checking it out!

I use the color 'Blackest Black' and it's awesome for drawing out winged eyeliner. Now, I think the color payoff is decent. I use this in my daily routine but instead of just using this by itself, I coat over it with the wet n wild liquid eyeliner and it's a perfect combo! Basically just use this for the base coat and to get my eyeliner shape and then go over it. I haven't experienced it drying up or anything but I can see how some people might get dry ones as ELF can sometimes be like that. Good thing it's cheap!

I Got Elves Ink eyeliner in charcoal and I absolutely love it I never liked a liquid eyeliner before because it just got everywhere and it's mileage didn't just wasn't good. But this one by elf is amazing it dries really really quick you can do so many eyeliner looks with it period and the color is black I mean intense black and surprisingly it last and you have a hard time rubbing it off it's amazing love it in for this price you can get a truckload of them. I recommend

I have used this eyeliner for a while. When you first get it the eyeliner is great. The pen is easy to use and gives you a smooth precise line. The color is dark and stays on semi well. However, as this product gets old the very thin tip starts to wear out and even though there is plenty of ink left in the pen the messed up applicator makes your lines look a little wide or smudged. However, for 4-5 dollars you can’t beat it!

For its price it's bomb. It runs out of ink really fast but it's like 2 dollars so it's really good to grab if you just need a quick replacement while you're waiting to buy a more expensive liner. This one is really easy to use and really black the first few uses. If you're looking for a long lasting felt tip, this one isn't for you. But if you're looking to use something until pay day, this one won't let you down

I am in love with this eyeliner. It is super smooth and glides on the eyelids very well with makeup or without eyemake up. I never thought of ink eyeliner working so soooo smooth on the eye. Before buying elf , i was using Rimmel ink eyeliner which was a real struggle to draw on my eyelids, so was bit worried about this eyeliner. It is beyond my expectations. It cost me $3.00, which is real cheap but worth the quality, compared to other high brands. I am impressed, it gives perfect winged eye. Will definitely use this brand further.

I want to know how easy the Elf eyeliner is to apply. Will it stay in place? Does it slide or face on your lids? Just wondering. I want to learn how to do the winged eyeline and wonder if this is a good product to try for that? e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner

Has anyone had an experience where they opened up a new product and it was already dried out? This has happened to me with other elf eyeliners and I'm skeptical about trying this one
