  • "I know it says that it is an eyeliner brush but I believe that it is way to thick for lining and eye. Instead I use it as a concealing brush for my under eye area. Of course it does not really blend but it helps put the product where it needs to go before I blend it in. " in 58 reviews
  • "I like using this brush for my eye shadow to try to get some depth to my look. Very great quality for super cheap. " in 14 reviews

Despite how horrid my eyelining skills are, I really like this brush. It is affordable, and does a decent job of applying eyeliner. I use it with Kiss Wing It Eyeliner Black (3 Pack) but I also have good results just using setting spray and powder eyeshadow. The bristles are just right- soft, but not so soft that yourliner goes everywhere. The only issue I have is that the bristles themselves are quite thick, which makes it hard for me to create a nice sharp line. It would be helpful to have a thin angle on this brush to make a nice winged edge. The thickness is helpful at least in getting the eyeliner between my lashes, which is something I really struggle with when I'm using a liner pen. In order to get a nice clean line I would need to use this as a base and THEN use a pen, so overall this is a good product but could be better in my opinion.

Purchased this to clean up the nail polish around my cuticle area. Works like a charm. I was worried the acetone would eat the glue away and make the brush fall apart after one use. That hasn’t happened and I have used it multiple times. I am careful in how I hold it to keep acetone dripping down to the glue area as much as possible. But for the most part this works great for my needs and it was only $1! e.l.f. Eyeliner Brush

I actually keep a couple of these around. I use them for white cream eyeliner when I'm cutting my crease. I found these at Target, and at a dollar a pop, I tend to use them more as a disposable brush. Don't get me wrong, they've held up great, but if they get particularly messy after an editorial look, I dont bother to wash them, I'll just toss it and open a new one
Great for newbies, and budding MUA due to the price point.

I don’t use this as an eyeliner brush I feel like it’s way to think to apply eyeliner. However I do use it to pack shimmer shades onto my lid and to buff color on my lower lash line. Definitely worth the money whether you use it for eyeliner or for shadow.

I love the fact that the ELF Eyeliner Brush is super cheap ($1) and easily accessible. The eyeliner brush has soft and decently length bristles and has a medium density. The only flaw would be that some of the bristles can come loose and you can pull them out.

I don’t use this brush for eyeliner. I use it to clean up my eyebrows with concealer. It helps to clean them up really well and precise. It’s not a flimsy brush. Would definitely recommend, though, I don’t know if it’s good for eyeliner but I’m sure it is

This is literally the only wide, straight eyeliner brush I had owned for a few years up until earlier this year. E.l.f. brushes are so affordable and actually pretty darn good quality. This brush had done an amazing job at keeping it's shape all this time, and has somehow managed to stay in one piece! I highly recommend grabbing some e.l.f. brushes if you're in the market for some decent ones that won't cost you an arm and a leg!

This straight edge soft yet stiff eyeliner brush seems like it would be perfect for applying eyeliner. The bristles are great quality, none came out when I tried to pull them out. Since I don't have a gel liner quite yet this is all I can really comment on.

This brush is great for precision application of gel and liquid eyeliners. I love that it is similar to other more high-end brands but for significantly cheaper. Mine was under $10 which is unheard of when you look at the prices for some of the more “name brand” brushes, and it does the same job. I have washed mine many times without the bristles drying out or becoming frayed. Highly recommend!

I just got this brush. How does it compare to others? Are their certain kinds of liners it works with best? Are there other low budget brushes you prefer?
