I do not like this product at all! I was very disappointed because I usely love elf products. It’s very watery even after you shake it up, so you have to build it up like 4 layers. Then once you build it up it has a very shiny look which I don’t like at all. I could literally peel the eyeliner off my eye like a sticker 😂 but I guess if you’re into that kind of look go for this product but I wouldn’t recommend it.
I got this since it was only $1 to try out and I wasn't a fan. I have tried to use it several times but find myself having to go over it with another liner. To me the formula isn't very thick. I personally am not a fan of a brush tip vs a felt tip, I feel like it is very hard to get sharp clean lines when the brush is so flimsy. I did like that it dries to a flat black vs being shiny.
This has been my staple liquid eyeliner for years now. I have gone through bottles of this and owned one or two at a time for what feels like at least 10 years. I am terrible with liquid products but this applicator makes it so easy to work with a liquid liner. I have no mastered a wing but I don’t put that on the eyeliner but rather my lack of skill. The formula is so black and pigmented that I have very little trouble applying my eyeliner; it also works well for me over eyeshadows. The only reason this falls short of 5 stars for me is that this does not have a matte finish. It’s not very shiny but has a mild sheen to it. I will continue to buy this over and over again not only because I think this is a solid product but because it also has an unbeatable price. Hoping they come out with a matte black version in the future!

Okay, so this product was a great but there are a few things that I don't generally love about the eyeliner. I like the tip of the applicator, the eyeliner goes on smoothly but it takes a few minutes to dry, for me. Its a great eyeliner for wings and easy lines. I guess what I don't like about it is that it has to much of a liquid base. I perfer the elf intense eyeliner pen.
The best, best, best liquid eyeliner in the make up industry! Why pay a ton of something that isn't going to get the job done. This is really one of the cheapest eyeliners you can get, but the quality is beyond what you pay for! It even works for the most intricate designs!
so as a beginner in the makeup world, this is the first eyeliner that I owned because it was the cheapest. I feel like this eyeliner does a great job but with other things to assist it. I typically use a pencil or a gel liner for my wing and then to clean it up i would use something like this. My only thing is, its a little shiny and i like my wings to look matte.

I have been using elf brand eyeliner for years and I absolutely am in love! It's got the perfect brush tip for creating the most amazing wings and it's only $2! It's not super long lasting but it's great for a quick everyday look and I get compliments on it all the time! I would highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a cheap but nice liquid eyeliner!
This is the only eyeliner I used for so many years. I love liquid liner. It glides on the eye so smoothly. The brush applicator makes creating a wing effortless. I have only used the black eye liner. It looks great with my blue eyes. I liked the jet black one that left a more glossy looking eye. It's an affordable eye product that is worth the money.

I prefer using eyeliner pens, but whenever I'm in the mood to use a true liquid liner, this is the one I reach for. I'm able to draw a really thin line and wing my eyeliner out very effortlessly with this. It's a bummer ELF raised their prices. This used to be $1 and now it's either $2 or $3. Still extremely affordable, so I will continue to use it.

I just recently discovered this little gem and have been wearing it everyday since. I was stuck on an expensive felt tip liquid liner for years and wasn't expecting to like this because it's a brush tip. Surprisingly I can achieve the best, sharpest wing with this and actually love the color Midnight which is a navy, but nearly black. I'm pretty sure I paid like $2 for it which is crazy and it even lasts throughout the entire day. Would highly recommend. e.l.f. Expert Liquid Eyeliner
