I vaguely remember buying these when E.L.F. first had their brick and mortar store. I don't remember if these were also a $1 or maybe they were on the "expensive" $3 price range. I probably was not the best judge of cosmetics back then. Being a total newbie at makeup, not knowing how to pick out makeup or apply it correctly lol. I don't think these had the best closing lids. It was great you could see the shades without having to open them up. Don't remember them being durable either. The formula was kinda creamy? It applied okay. I just liked E.L.F. back then based on their prices and it was fun to buy a bunch of random makeup to play with. It kind of felt like I was building my own little gift bag with small cosmetics. $20 got you a lot of makeup back then.

my very first time trying to do eyeliner i used the brown side of this first to help and it worked wonders for me. this is also just a very good eyeshadow to use especially if you don’t use it all the time and are new to it. i usually never wear eyeshadow but when i do i use this bc it’s so easy to apply and make it look good
