What's the difference between the ELF Essentials Eyelid Primer and the Mineral Eyelid Primer?

The original lasts longer (12 months) and is a primer alone. The Mineral line version lasts half as long (6 months) and is a primer and a skin treatment in one.

The difference is the ingredients. Also the original primer has a longer shelf life opposed to the mineral primer. The orginal primer dries faster.

Well ELF is a lot cheaper, but it works great. Made with different stuff too. Mineral is suppose to be better for your skin.

One of the biggest differences is the expiration date. ELF recommends that you use the mineral primer for no more than 6 months where the Essentials primer is recommended for no more than 12 months. If you look at the bottom of each primer there is a 6 M (mineral) and a 12M (essential), that's the time recommended to use product. Another difference is that the essentials primer seems to be more drying than the mineral. The mineral primer brings more moisture to your eyelids. I find that they both last a really long time.
