I absolutely love, love, love this powder. It’s easy to blend, doesn’t affect the color of my foundation and it’s great for baking (your face not a cake!) This is my go-to powder for the great quality and of course the great price (I got mine for three dollars at Walmart!)
Do not bother. I decided to try it because I was using NYX but am always looking for something a little softer + more blotting because I'm oily + wear my makeup for stage which is sweaty. This was basically like putting gritty chalk on my face. It stuck to certain areas, left me white + patchy + didn't do its job. I had no idea powder could be this bad.
I have used the sheer high definition powder on multiple occasions. Less is more ladies. The flash back is real. It's easy to apply but go easy because you don't need a lot! I use it less frequently now but it does add a nice touch as long as you don't over due it!
This was great setting my eye concealer. Looks flawless and no creasing. Just don't use if you're getting flash photos taken. The reflect that brightens your eyes also causes flashback which looks white in the photo.(all brightening powders do this) Other than that it's amazing!
I love elf, this product is great but I would not recommend using this when planning on taking pictures with flash. The flashback is pretty bad. But over all I don’t mind using it during the day, it holds my makeup into place all day long. But I do not like the flashback.
I don’t know if it was just the color I got, but this setting powder causes awful flashback in photos. I looked like a ghost, it was terrible. It does do a pretty good job at keeping makeup in place but I wouldn’t recommend wearing it at night if you plan to be in photos.
Favorite, the price is great. The look of the package is sexy. The powder works great and you can see it instantly when you put it on. I would say it work for all type of skin. I have mix skin and my T zone is more oily so I just put more product on it and it works great!
This powder is super affordable and a great option. It gives you a nice sheer finish for those days you don’t want matte or shimmer. It holds makeup in place for a decent time considering the price. I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for something fast and easy!
I used this to start out with “baking”. It’s still something I keep in my bag and used every other day. It’s good for oily skin in my opinion and helps keep makeup in place. The price was so good, it couldn’t compete with others. I recommend to others look for a good finish on a budget. It works very good for how much you spend!
This is a great drug store setting powder. It's great for dry skin, so I'd say it would also be good for oily skin. It's not a super messy powder and does good with locking in your makeup. This is an amazing drugstore setting powder that is super cheap but also so good.
Q & A
Whats is this used for?
Does this make your foundation lighter or is it translusant
Does the product create a weird look on camera?
How much can I expect to pay for this? I know prices vary, though an average would be nice. It has good reviews, and I have known the elf brand to be quite cost effective.
Where can i buy it?
