This is my holy grail powder and it's super affordable too! And I know most people just throw the powder puff that comes with it away but don't! My favorite way to apply this is to get some product on the puff and press and roll it onto my skin to set everything! I have 2 back ups in my collection and always make sure I never run out.
Just used this for the first time today and I have to say I am really impressed. Great value for a really low price point. The only thing I would caution on is the fact that is is more of a pigmented white than a totally clear powder. For me, I have really pale skin and my foundation is just the teeniest bit too dark but this really evens it out and my foundation lasted all day.
Sometimes I have trouble with translucent powders. I like to bake but if they have the wrong texture, it will sometimes be too dry or clump. Elf is super affordable and was honestly overall a good product. I would purchase again if I need to pick something up from the store last minute and I don't have time to order my usual product.
I swear by this powder. I've tried many high end loose powders and what I've learned is there's no reason to spend a ton of money. This elf powder is great for setting all makeup and you get a ton of product for the $8 price tag. I remember when this powder was only $6, which is why I didn't give full stars. Nothing about the quality packaging or amount of product changed yet the price rose.
This is a nice loose setting powder, perfect to bake the areas on your face that you want to be lighter, like the under-eyes, under your contour, nose, and forehead. Its is pretty finely milled. But I would not use this for all over the face setting because on my skin, with any foundation underneath, it leaves a slight white cast.
This finely milled powder is perfect die setting you foundation and baking your face! I see by this product and until someone proves to me there's something better out there, I will always use this as my holy grail translucent powder!
This setting powder works well and lasts all day. It's great for baking and doesn't leave too much of a white cast. I'm a medium to medium deep color and find that it does leave a little white cast if I don't take the time to bake and dust off the excess. I'm also not the biggest fan of the Loose powder format which gets messy..
Works well as a setting powder. I always use on my T-zone and under eyes, and it helps prevent creasing and oil buildup. Some oil still gets through, but not much. I'm at work or school all day, not in front of a camera or exercising much, so for day-to-day wear this is good. For the price and quantity, this is definitely worth it.
Q & A
Whats is this used for?
Does this make your foundation lighter or is it translusant
Does the product create a weird look on camera?
How much can I expect to pay for this? I know prices vary, though an average would be nice. It has good reviews, and I have known the elf brand to be quite cost effective.
Where can i buy it?
