This product is perfect for summer & setting your make up in place! I use it after applying my face make up and it keeps everything in place and prevents my face from looking oily the whole night, even when it's hot & humid! It only takes a light dusting, and I use a big kabuki brush to apply, rather than what comes in the package.
This powder works great as a setting powder. It doesn't crease. I use it with a brush very lightly after applying my concealer under my eyes. When used lightly it doesn't show the fine lines! This is a must have in your make up arsenal.
This is okay. It would be great for beginners but there is room for improvement. The packaging is HORRIBLE and not easy to use. I also did find that when I applied the powder to bake with either a brush or a damp beautyblender that when I go to swipe off the excess that it leaves a white cast on my skin. Other than that its ok.
Sometimes I have trouble with translucent powders. I like to bake but if they have the wrong texture, it will sometimes be too dry or clump. Elf is super affordable and was honestly overall a good product. I would purchase again if I need to pick something up from the store last minute and I don't have time to order my usual product.
I love this powder! I usually use it to set my under eyes or to "bake" my face! It works pretty well! I do feel if you apply TOO much under the eyes it does have a flash back! But if you apply a light layer it doesnt give a flash back and has a beautiful finish!
I swear by this powder. I've tried many high end loose powders and what I've learned is there's no reason to spend a ton of money. This elf powder is great for setting all makeup and you get a ton of product for the $8 price tag. I remember when this powder was only $6, which is why I didn't give full stars. Nothing about the quality packaging or amount of product changed yet the price rose.
This is amazing to set your foundation or anything you'd like! It's not full coverage or do I recommend to bake with, but it's so great to set your makeup, if you're oily so you can blot with it or wanting make your makeup last longer.
Its great for under eyes to control darkness when put over concealer. Its also great for baking and controls unwanted shine. I recommend this for people with oily skin but its not practical throughout the day when you need to re-apply because it can get very messy. So, you should use a compact powder. Wonderful product none the less!
This is my holy grail powder and it's super affordable too! And I know most people just throw the powder puff that comes with it away but don't! My favorite way to apply this is to get some product on the puff and press and roll it onto my skin to set everything! I have 2 back ups in my collection and always make sure I never run out.
Q & A
Whats is this used for?
Does this make your foundation lighter or is it translusant
Does the product create a weird look on camera?
How much can I expect to pay for this? I know prices vary, though an average would be nice. It has good reviews, and I have known the elf brand to be quite cost effective.
Where can i buy it?
