Very similar to NYX HD powder. Smooths skin and gives an airbrushed finished. Amazing for oily skin and brilliant for brightening under the eye. But, the flash back is awful leaving white casts on various areas of your face. If there is no flash photography where you’re going then you’ll look great!

A very good powder, keeps make up in place, however, claims to be a high definition powder, I don’t believe it is any different from other loose powders. I do reach for this product more often than not though!

Very good powder, prevents shine/ oiliness and keeps makeup in place all day long! Amazing value for money very easy to use and blend in but the packaging is not the best I’d buy again and recommend to others!

I thought this was ok. It didn’t amaze me by any means and I found it to be a tad too dry for my already parched skin. When used to bake I still found by my eight hour work day there was a teensy bit of creasing on my under eyes but I found this to make my under eye area look more cakey than I’d like it to. I’m not mad I tried it as it’s super affordable but I probably will continue my look out for another powder

i really liked this powder for setting my face. it does give really bad flashback though ! i wish i didn’t because it keeps makeup in place very well and it’s very fine powder so it feels really light on the face

The packaging could be a little more mess proof, every time I open it, White powder flies everywhere. Other than that, it does a good job on my pale skintone but fails to be translucent on more tan skin. It’s very mattifying which I love.

I love this powder. I use for the daily basics. I use this like a primer like beauty gurus do. I use it to set my makeup. It's amazing because its a thin powder and its going to keep your makeup everyday. Also, i love it for setting my under eyes. I feel like it gives to my skin poreless finish. However, don't apply too much if you don't want flashligh. You are going to loo scary like James Charles did.

First of all, anyone who doesn't know already, elf is one of the very best discount cosmetic lines out there. Actually, I'd say because of they're price point, they rank #1 in my book with NYX following in close second. NYX also holds a special place in my heart, but is slightly more expensive than elf.
I initially bought this powder a few years ago when I was first discovering elf and starting to get into makeup more. I HATED it at first! I thought it was too light, and you could see it all over my face and it just looked terrible. The problem was not with the makeup itself but with how i was applying it. I did find other uses for it at the time though. I have pretty oily skin naturally and didn't want to shell out lots of money for the good foundations that cater to oily skin, so I began mixing a bit of this powder in with my foundation. It worked pretty well, though it didn't totally help the oilyness. Also this stuff works great if you run out of dry shampoo and need some in a pinch!
Fast forward a few years and I'd like to think I am much better and more knowledgeable of makeup application. Knowing the correct way to apply this, it is now one of my must have products! It actually rivals the Makeup Forever translucent powder, and for this price, I'd say it wins.
The best way I've found to apply this is:
- I lightly dust it with a fluffy brush over the areas on my face that I use concealer to highlight. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. Your makeup will not move if you do this.
- I also use this to "bake" my face. This is literally the only thing I can to to fight the oil on my skin! I always had an issue with it and as soon as I baked for the first time, it totally solved the problem! To do this, you use concealer and then a THICK layer of powder on your trouble areas. You let that set for about 10 minutes and then dust it off with a fluffy brush. Voila! Shine free :)
100% the best powder you can get at this price point.

This powder just did NOT work for my skin. I used to set the concealer under my eyes - pigment was very very yellow on my fair-medium skin tone making me look sallow and a bit ill, and pigment cling to dry patches on my skin giving a scaley effect. The powder itself felt quite drying and my under-eyes ended up looking wrinkly and tired. I ended up throwing it away because I just couldn’t use it.

Really soft, almost silky. It doesn’t dry my face which is great and it doesn’t make you look caky. It is not my favorite powder simply because I am more of a compact powder kind of girl rather than loose powder.

How much can I expect to pay for this? I know prices vary, though an average would be nice. It has good reviews, and I have known the elf brand to be quite cost effective.
