I wanted to love this. I wanted something extra extra light as I have never worn foundation in my life, but at thirty I finally wanted to bump up the spf and work on maintaining my skin. I will say I did not shake it which may have been my problem. I headed to Sephora and asked for a recommendation which was a Nars tinted moisturizer and despite asking for the least amount of coverage possible ended up with a thick one. Do at Walmart I saw this and purchased on a whim. I really liked it the first time I used it. It the next morning I found I struggled to apply using my fingers. I don’t own any foundation brushes or beauty blenders so I felt like it looked patchy on my skin. I picked up Garnier BB Cream which happens to have anti aging benefits too plus spf and am pleased to say it is just as sheer but in an easier cream form!! I will stick with that instead and thank the Lord I finally found something out of the million full mask foundations I tried!

****** Side Notation:: If you love this product, Dollar Tree Sassy Chic B.B. Cream is literally almost exactly the same. It has mineral oil in the ingredients and is only a $1 for the same feel and coverage. Worth a try in my opinion for a buck it holds its own!

I was excited to see this line come out from elf. I like to wear a more natural light coverage face since i dont have acne but i do get redness on my cheeks when i get an eczema flare up. This stuff is so great for the summer because its light and breathable and last all day. The only con is the shade selection, no surprise from elf. But i have snow white skin and i can only make the lightest shade work if i mix in a little of my shapetape, which is whiite. But overall if your within the shade range this is great.

Love this foundation if i want to just even out my skin, it has light coverage with spf 23, so it is very good for summer foundation and fresh looking make up look,. It held up to 7hrs without getting oily,. But after 8 hrs it began to oil up just a lil bit so it is good for its longevity,.but the only cons i saw was it had a blotchiness after 8hrs, it has little circles like a pores size goin on my side of the nose and inner cheeks,. Maybe because of the spf 23..

Foundation Serum in the shade “Fair/Light” which was a wonderful match for my skin tone and this was definitely more of a serum foundation than anything because the consistency was very thin and had more of a watery consistency. As far as coverage goes, I’d say it was medium coverage which for me is perfect on a day where I’m not wearing much makeup, seeing as my skin has hyperpigmentation. I really enjoyed this foundation and I feel like it will last me a long time because of the amount of coverage you get for very little product, and I applied this using a buffing brush. The result of this is a beautiful, natural-looking finish and I really enjoyed it. 5/5 for me.

While I wasn't expecting a whole lot of coverage beforehand, this is just so sheer! Despite this, it did help my skin look more even. It in no way helped reduce the appearance of pores or fine lines, and actually made my skin feel very dried out. I would highly recommend using this product with a moisturizer if you have combination skin, because my dry areas were very dry. (I plan on trying this out with moisturizer as well as primer, instead of just primer). I do not recommend if you have dry skin though, save your money - even though this is still a cheap product. The foundation serum applied easily enough, though I had to use 4 pumps to cover my face. The formula is very thin, almost water-like. Dry time isn't excessive, it stays wet long enough for you to cover your face, and is buildable. When it dries down it leaves a matte finish. I personally would not buy this again.

I’m definitely no makeup pro, but I bought this because I just wanted light coverage. It is very liquidy, which is fine, except that means it takes a lot to cover my face evenly. It’s very sheer once on (as in more like no coverage), except for the fact that it leaves my skin looking very greasy.. it also has a very sticky texture that I didn’t care for at all.

I feel bad because I love a lot of this brands products but I absolutely hated this one. It has no coverage at all and it’s too thin in consistency. I understand it’s a “serum” foundation, but I did expect a lot more pigmentation. I don’t see any difference after applying to my face. The only thing I liked was the added spf but so many products offer that already that this is not necessary.

This foundation is very light coverage, which I prefer. It has a super liquify consistency so make sure to shake it up before you pump it out. I like how it applies evenly and is very smooth but lasts a good 10 hours on me without getting oily. It also doesn’t cling to dry patches. My complaints are that there’s not as much product as it looks like, and I am having some breakouts after wearing it (I can’t blame this entirely on this foundation but it does have mineral oil in the ingredients and my skin has been super sensitive lately.)

So not my favorite elf product. There truly isn’t much coverage as compared to other serums I’ve used. It doesn’t give me that slight color change I’m looking for. I have red tones but nice skin so all I’m looking for is slight coverage I didn’t feel this provided. I love elf. But I guess not for face.!

This is my new go-to everyday foundation. It’s light but has just the right amount of coverage so that I have some color in my face. It comes out super liquidy but once it settles on your face, it feels amazing, like it’s not even there. Love!
