Use a brush or fingers to remove the top protective layer before use. Using the highlighting brush, sweep the highlighter onto the cheekbones, brow bone, inner eye corners, and Cupid’s bow to brighten the face.

So this highlighter has a great amazing glow to it but when I tried to swatch it, the product would not come off. It is a little hard for me to get some of the product onto my brush when I am applying the product on my face. Otherwise I think that it has an amazing nice glow when you put it on your face.

I usually love elf products, but this is one that I sadly was really disappointed in. The product is baked so much that it is so difficult to actually use. It wouldn’t pick up well on a brush or if I used my fingers. I was underwhelmed. I also felt that it came off almost chunky as opposed to a nice highlight.

This is an amazing value! It is such a beautiful natural glow that lasts all day! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone and I will definitely be buying this again! Make sure to scrape the top layer off to get the best pigment!

Great price. Awesome highlighter. I made sure I have a backup. This works great on my skin. Gives me that beaming glow I love. It’s not glitter just shiny. My makeup looks great after I use it. Stays on great all day. I would recommend to everyone to try this.

Inexpensive, but powdery and dusty. If you're new to highlight and want something subtle, then this may be great for you! However, if you want something BAM, then this is not it

Great highlight for a great price but I had to scrape off some of the top to get better pigmentation but besides that I think it’s a beautiful natural glow and very easy to apply definitely recommend for ones who don’t spend much on highlight and like a subtle glow.

If you’re a makeup enthusiast you know that Elf baker highlighters are actually the bomb, especially for a drugstore product, the only issue is the serious overspray on the outer layer. You have to scrape or the entire outer layer of the dome, before you can reach the blinding highlight, which is why I gave this 4 stars.
