How To Use:

Use a brush or fingers to remove the top protective layer before use. Using the highlighting brush, sweep the highlighter onto the cheekbones, brow bone, inner eye corners, and Cupid’s bow to brighten the face.

I tried moonlight pearls first and may I tell you this was such a good highlighter for such a low price a had to get blush gems days later. This is a very pigmented highlighter for a drugstore product although you can get better pigment by scrapping off the first layer of the highlighter first then it’s way better they only bad thing would be that the color starts coming off in about 6 to 7 hours but you can always reapply other than that I would definitely rebuy and recommend 100%

I bought the moonlight pearls color and it is a very nice highlighter shade. For me, it's not pigmented enough and it also doesn't blend very well. The color is one of my favorites for highlighting purposes, I'm just really picky with certain things and unfortunately this one didn't work 100 percent. I love ELF products and I may actually try this in a different shade. If you don't like a highlighter that's super pigmented and just gives a very subtle glow, you'd probably love this though.

This is such an odd product like it does work once you scrape the top off and wet it but like I'm not trynna do all that just to make a product work ya know. And once you do get the pigment going it just doesn't look nice on the skin and brings out texture in the worst way. I'd say you get what you pay for with this. But ultimately not worth it. And p.s. This is after I swiped it on my finger over and over and scraped the top off AND wet it.

For the price, I think this definitely deserves five stars. It packs a gorgeous glow that rivals many of my more expensive metallic looking highlighters and all for three bucks. Specifically, this reminds me of my Laura Geller Baked Highlighter. As many people have indicated, you do have to scratch off the top layer of this product in order to get to the good stuff. I don't know why this is, but once the top layer is removed, you will LOVE this e.l.f. baked highlighter.

I wish I could give this no stars... I love elf products and was so excited about this. I didn't have a pink tone highlight yet. This product is impossible to use. It won't lift out of the pan on a brush or on my fingers. When I was trying to swatch it it was like rubbing my fingers on a rock and only a couple specs of highlight came up. So disappointed.

So pigmented! Only thing, when you first get it you should try and scrape off the top layer so that you can get a good amount of product on your brush. The pigmentation is beautiful and it looks great on the skin. I was very surprised how well this worked. I think it was $3/$4 so very inexpensive and worth the price. I layer this one underneath another highlighter I use (I like my highlight to be blinding)

e.l.f. Cosmetics Baked Highlighter I was really excitied for this highlighter because the colour looks beautiful. However I could get no brushes to work with it. If I rub it on my skin then the colour payoff is AMAZING but I can only wear it without foundation in that case. I tried at least 4 different brushes, all had different bristles and were packed differently and none picked up product. Elfs baked products tend to be hit and miss and this one is a big miss.

This is the first highlighter I have ever owned, I was expecting so much. I was in a gorgeous packaging and looks stunning, when I went to apply it on my face, I wet my brush and went in.  NOTHING CAME OFF. so I watched someone else review it and they said you have to scrape off the top layer.  so when I did that It ruined the perfect looking highlighter then when I put it on all it did was make my acne stand out more.  If it didn't do that it would be a 5/5

This highlighter is such a cheap yet amazing product. It is really blinding and blendable. It works a little better on the oily parts of my skin but it does work well on dry skin. This highlighter is really worth the price for how much there is, and how works perfectly. I highly recommend this highlighter for anyone seeking good highlighters for an amazing price.
