I have pretty severe rosacea, and have always had trouble covering the redness with makeup. I got this concealer palette to help neutralize some of that redness. The green concealer does a good job of covering the redness, but I do have to use a fair amount of it. However, it is a relatively inexpensive product, so I don't mind buying it more often.
I generally love elf products, but not a huge fan of this color corrector. It takes A LOT of product to make it really work on dark circles or redness. I find myself applying before my foundation, after foundation again, and a little bit after everything and cover it up with a little powder. Just not worth it for me. Probably won’t buy again.
Not a fan of this color correcting pallet. I feel like it's just really cheaply made and the colors do not blend out very well and if I put foundation over it it looks super cakey.
I bought this recently t cover up some red marks. The other colors were just a bonus. I’m not super impressed though because the concealer just brushes right off when I try to work it into my skin. I’ve tried all the tricks and it’s either on my skin green or not on at all. I’m glad it was cheap so I’m not worried about it sitting in my makeup case.
ELF is great. Amazing prices in relation to the quality. It's good stuff. This isn't my favorite, but it works well enough. I prefer to buy one color suited to my needs best, because after applying all these different ones to places I didn't really need that color help in, my face feels heavy. It's a cute little pallet though for a good price.
I really like this, especially for the price. I'm not very experienced with color correcting so I thought this would be a good place to start. The creams are very pigmented and cover redness well, although it didn't cover my dark circles very well. I got the powder too which I didn't like at all. Definitely stick with the creams!
I bought this one bc I'm experimenting and practicing color correction. So I bought a cheaper one to learn with . So far I love it and don't feel the need to buy anything else.
Q & A
I recently bought this in the powder form and I'm not sure if I like it very much. Then again I'm not 100% sure if I am applying it like it should be applied. The directions say to apply all colors all over face and I feel like that is not right. What do each colors stand for? And would you recommend me purchasing a different brand?
What are the different colors for?
How does this actually work for acne prone skin????
I have never bought anything from elf is it actually worth it
