This worked pretty well but I’m still getting used to how to properly use it lol it helped when I had blemishes or any redness and blended really nicely with my concealer as well! I would definitely give this another shot but I think it user error at this point with how it holds up. When I used the green it shows through my foundation at one point but I think that’s because I put too much in one spot instead of layering.
I was interested in this palette because it had the different colors. This would be good for a professional but since I wound up just using 2 colors, it was a bit of a waste for me. The green covered my redness and yellow covered my dark circles. These went on smoothly and blended easily. Looked amazing when set. I would buy again if they quit making the color correcting sticks.
Honestly I don't like this product, and it's mostly because of the texture. It's sticky and doesn't play nice with the rest of my make up. It's hard to smooth out, and every now and then I'll get a small zit pop up at the edge of where I've blended it. I can always see where the product is because it changes the texture of the stuff on top of it
I think that the price of this product was really nice but honestly it did nothing for my skin. I didn’t get any kind of color correction and the makeup just sat on top on my imperfections, smeared off, or made my foundation/concealer look too thick and cakey. I wouldn’t recommend this cream concealer to anyone that has super oily skin like mine
Purchased at: Walmart
I did not like this product. It left my skin with a green tint and I am someone who wears very little face makeup to begin with. If you are going to use this product then consider using a full coverage foundation on top. Other wise you will look green.
It’s not easily blendable but with a damp makeup sponge it’s manageable. I just use the green and salmon one. I think for super dry skin this would not be great, I have combo skin and it barely works that well. I don’t think I would buy again.
I may have not used it right, but I didn't have any luck with this particular product. It didn't cover or correct properly. If you have more experience, it may work better for you. Either way, good luck elf is usually a fantastic brand.
Q & A
I recently bought this in the powder form and I'm not sure if I like it very much. Then again I'm not 100% sure if I am applying it like it should be applied. The directions say to apply all colors all over face and I feel like that is not right. What do each colors stand for? And would you recommend me purchasing a different brand?
What are the different colors for?
How does this actually work for acne prone skin????
I have never bought anything from elf is it actually worth it
