e.l.f. Contour Palette
- "this is a great product it just takes a lot sometimes because it's powder but i definitely recommend it if you don't use to much makeup" in 461 reviews
My friend gave me this for last Christmas and it was the first contour palette I received so I was really excited to try it. However, once I started using this and practicing with it, I realized how chalky and cool toned this is for my warm tone complexion. It doesn't give me a proper contour and looks really bad on my skin tone. In the beginning, I thought I was doing something wrong because it didn't blend well and looked very weird on my skin.. However, once I tried bronzing with the Hoola from Benefit, I realized that the elf one just didn't suit me.. I personally do not like this..
this product if I did not like it at all It seems to me that the colors are distributed very badly and there is no natural effect rather it seems that the dust does not adhere well to the skin and I do not know how beautiful it would be Although the price is good I feel that it could be a better product.
I use it more for my brows that I do for my contour. I just like a more subtle co tour and this doesn't do it. But it's cheap so that's worth a star I guess.
I didn't really like this contour kit, because it was patchy, hard to blend out, and not the best look. The light shades didn't do anything.
This was my very first contour palette that I bought when I started with makeup. At first I thought it was good. But then when I tried other contour products, I think this is not good enough. It does not blend well, and it does not last long. I wouldn’t recommend this but if you’re just starting with makeup then this is okay, because you can practice with this and it is affordable.
Q & A
I have been in search of a contour palette for a while now. I haven't dabbled too much in contour yet but I want to. Has anyone used this product and if so how 'user friendly' was it? Also did anyone have any issues with the pressed powder breaking?
Is this palette good for beginners?
I've been wanting to try contouring my makeup, but I have no clue where to start!? Is this good? Pricey? Easy to do? Help?!!
Would you suggest this for someone who is new to contouring and not looking to spend a lot?
