I bought this when I first started getting into more advanced makeup looks. This is a great pratice palette, great for beginners who want to start bronzing and contouring. I don't like the highlight that comes with this palette. It is too shear for my liking, but overall this is a cheap drugstore product, so it's going to preform like one. This is cheap and it does work. The formula is very powery and has a lot of fall out. I wish there were other palettes with a better color option. I know they have a darker palette for the people with deep skin, but lets face it, there are not only 2 skin tones in the world.
I got this when I just started makeup a few years ago and needed a very affordable contour palette to practice with. This is a great practice palette if you're new to makeup and don't want to spend on high end products yet. But this palette is chalky AF and has barely any color payoff, but you get what you pay for, I got mine for $6 at target. I have fair-light skin with neutral undertone and this doesn't look good on me. I wouldn't recommend if you have the money to buy a higher end contour palette like kat von d, but if you are just starting makeup, this is fine for you.
This palette is really pretty. It has a good bronzer shade and a good shade for contouring. The two other shades are good for setting under your eyes or the rest of your face. If your fair skinned like I am, you may only use the contour shade. I only get a good use out of the contouring shade, the other one is far too warm for me. Overall it’s a good beginners palette and great for the price! They also have a cream one i think which id like to pick up!
I am really getting into contouring and this was the first palette that I ever purchased. I ended up giving this to my younger sister to play around with because it was not the best contour palette that I've had. It is not pigmented at all but it is definitely affordable. I think it is more for light-medium skin tones and it can be purchased at any retail store like Target, Walmart, or Walgreens. I would not recommend this to others because of the lack of pigmentation.
This product does a splendid job of combining the neutral shades to create a flawless natural contour. The shades in the palette are very pigmented and is very easy to apply. The palette also includes a highlight which provides a subtle glow to the skin. I would definitely purchase this product again.
I’m still playing around with it, but it’s just very average. You have to scrape the first layer of product to actually get anything pigmentation. The highlight is straight garbage. It’s basically chalk for your face. The bronzer shade is pretty much the only thing I use. I’ll use banana colored one for under my eyes if I’m desegregate because it’s actually not that drying, which is nice. The darkest shade I’ll use for eyebrows in a bind.
An amazing pallet....REALLY REALLY!! I sometime use this to set my concealer bronze and contour!! And ALWAYS for contour and I literally have every single contour kit out there all high end and this STILL is my go to on them quick days i can grab this pallet after I put my foundation and the lightest powder will brighten in its own then I'll bronze and contour and I always get compliments every time I use it...I have three backups and two are alreast out if the contour shade!! Love Love LOVE!!! AND it's 6$!!!! How cam u go wrong...i would spend that or even more juat on the contour shade!! Give it a try I guarantee u WILL NOT be disappointed!!
I’m just beginning to learn how to contour and i think this is great. For the price point i think this is amazing for beginners and it is well pigmented and blends super well! The packaging is simple and sleek and not too large. It also has a nice large mirror. It comes with a two highlighter shades and two contour shades.
I'm pleasantly surprised by the pigmentation from this palette! Great deal for such a low price, and the products are easy to blend into my skin no matter what foundation I have on. Again, it's hard finding bronzer or contour for my skin type but Elf is definitely stepping up their game across the entire spectrum.
For the price I think this is a steal. I am new to the contouring world and so I thought this would be a great way to experiment without spending a fortune. The coverage probably isn’t as great as it could be with the higher in make up but I still get a great contouring look that easy to apply and easy to blend. The secret to this make up is to let it bake on your face for at least 15 to 20 minutes.
