First of all, the shade range sucks. Porcelain is wayyy to dark for me (for reference, I wear shade 110 in Revlon Colorstay). However, the foundation is not too orange. It is the perfect foundation to mix with other foundations. It has a semi-matte finish and is full coverage which is AWESOME! And this foundation is only $6!!
The packaging of this foundation is a squeezy tube, and there seems to be a decent amount of product in it. I squeeze some out and dot it around my face with another foundation, then blend it out with a sponge or foundation brush. It makes any foundation have more full coverage, as well as give it a skin-like finish. If I wear this product alone and set it with a powder, it would last around 4 hours before I get oily.
I have repurchased this foundation many times, I think its awesome for the price! I gave it 4/5 stars because the shade range needs to be improved. I wouldn't say this foundation has helped with my acne, but regardless, its awesome.
I have one complaint about this product... the range of shades you can buy for this product start too dark. I use porcelain and have considered multiple times switching to a new brand because e.l.f. does not make a shade light enough. I don't have super fair skin either. It is disappointing that this is their lightest shade. It has somewhat of an orange tone that is not flattering in the winter time when my skin is not as tan. I love this product in the summer because my skin tone blends better with the porcelain shade, but I need to find something else for the winter time.
Apply to clean & moisturized skin. Squeeze a small amount on to a sponge, fingertips, or a foundation brush & starting at the center of the face blend outward. One layer gives a natural finish or apply in buildable layers for fuller coverage.
Price is $6 for 1 fl oz, but I bought mine for half off (they always have half off studio sales!). I'm in the color Porcelain which is the second to lightest shade & has more yellow tones to it.
I would recommend only up to 2 layers of this if you're using a brush because it can start to look a bit like you're in fact wearing too much make up. But the Beauty Blender really gives the best look for me with this foundation. The finish of the foundation is more satin matte & really does even your skin tone. I found it was a bit flat looking so I warmed up my face with the Maybelline Fit Me powder in a darker shade.
