Pros: Interactive & Engaging – The dogs caught on quickly. They love hearing the familiar sound it makes before the treat launches. It definitely keeps them curious and active. Portion Control – You can set the size and amount of treats dispensed, which is great for maintaining a healthy diet, especially since one of my dogs is on a weight management plan. Cons: Limited Treat Compatibility – It works best with small, uniform sized treats. Anything too soft or irregular tends to jam the dispenser. You’ll want to test a few brands before finding the right one. Volume Could Be Lower – The mechanical sound when the treat is released is a bit loud. It startled one of my dogs the first few times. The Joyhound Electronic Treat Dispenser has been a welcome addition to our home. It keeps my pups entertained, reinforces training, and gives me peace of mind when I’m not nearby. While there are a few small things that could be improved, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. I’d recommend it for any dog owner who wants a smart, interactive way to connect with their pets. Would buy again!

So this toy is definitely for rambunctious and active pups. My dog is extremely anxious and the jumping around it did mostly scared him lol, but that’s on him, not on the toy.
