I stopped playing The Sims years ago. From what I remember, this game wasn't one of my favorites. The graphics were pretty bad, but it was their first game. It's fun to create your own Sims however you want, but it gets boring fast if you're an experienced gamer. Maybe if you're a mild gamer you might enjoy this, or even a 10 year old. These games are pretty child friendly, especially this game in particular. You can't WooHoo, so that's out of the question. The worst you can do in this is kiss someone.

This game is a money trap! Buyer beware! Haha this game is awesome in the fact you can buy expansion packs and that it constantly has upgrades out. The negative to that is always having to buy if you want it. The great part about this is you can treat it like a hobby, you decide how much you spend on it. It will work with the basics or you can vamp it up with different expansion packs. I've played this as a kid and an adult and love it although some things now may be inappropriate for kids playing it

I'm new to the Sims but I love every minute of playing it. I can totally see how you can waist a lot of time playing it because you get so involved in the game. I'm in the third one and planning to buy the 4th or maybe I'll a get coupon for free Sim's 4 game in a Voxbox wouldn't that be SWEET! @Influenster Let's have a sweet voxbox for us that love the Sims.

I love the Sims. I have been there from the start. :D

The downside to them now that we are finishing up the 3 series and going onto the fourth is less content in the game and more that they want you to buy from their website. Um, okay, but there are a lot of cool places to get CC from.

EA needs to get some fresh ideas, but there are still wicked fun to play.

The Sims is amazing. It is actually what got me started enjoying gaming. I love being able to create different Sims, transform them with fashion and move them into a wondrous house of my own design. I also like the challenge of reaching the top of a chosen career path, keeping all the Sims in a household happy, and creating a little drama with other Sims.

I love this game, I've always been hooked on The Sims and I'm so very excited for next years The Sims 4. This is just the building blocks of how far The Sims have gone. I recommend this game 'cause it's so funny and full of imaginary. Not to mention how much you can do with add-on and expansions. Don't forget rosebud cheat when your sims is broke! lol!

This is easily my favorite game franchise of all time. I own every single game they have put out, from the original Sims, to Sims 2, to the Sims 3. I also own all the console games. I am a Simaholic! I love that as far as the PC games go, you have free range to create and do whatever you want, and the fact that you can have custom content and mods make for a truly personalized game play session. I can sit down to play this and before I know it I've been there for 12 hours! This game is #1!

This game is super fun and was the terrific start to a series loved by many a gamer, including myself. However, this game seems to be the most difficult of the series. I found it very difficult to get my Sims to do *ANYTHING* if any of their motive meters wasn't filled! They wouldn't go to work if one of their meters was low, and they'd insist on staying home and filling the meter. Otherwise, good game. :) The graphics, though outdated now, were good in their time. The music is terrific.

Shout out to the Sims for being one of the best games to have ever existed. I remember renting the game from Blockbuster (talk about a throwback! Am I right, ladies?) Sims gives you the opportunity to be someone other than yourself, give you confidence to flirt with your crush, or set an enemy on fire but not actually hurt them. God bless the creator!

I have loved the sims for years! You can never get bored with the sims because there is always something you can do. You can edit the homes however you want, which is a plus because it is awesome to be able to design homes. There are some cheat codes which make the game fun by giving you a lot of money. I love this game and suggest it to many people
