Electronic Arts Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning The Legend of Dead Kel - Electronic Software Download (PC)
RPG similar to the Elder Scrolls series, but with more involved combat. Combat requires having to dodge and learn the enemies' attack styles; button mashing will not save you. Fighting doesn't REQUIRE combos, but they're there and using them can make your life easier. The story itself is kind of bland (you are the chosen one, the only one who can save us, etc.) but the gameplay itself is fun. One thing I didn't like was how big the map was, and how long the travel time was between points. There's fast travel, but still a ton of walking involved, which takes away from the action. There's a good variety of weapons and attack styles, allowing you specialize. You also get to pick 2, so you won't be stuck with 1 choice. Respecs are common so you can change at any time. Crafting is quite varied, though I haven't felt a need to craft.
One of my favourite RPGs, the game is so so so beautiful. The design blows me away, the characters are so interesting, as well as the classes. The combos are super fun and interesting, there is a lot of side question to do that you benefit from, the side quests have a very interesting story. I prefer the fast paced combat compared to elder scrolls. The music is very immersive, I really like the voice acting in this game. I always go back to this. Love it!
