I didn’t like the looks of the place as we pulled up to it. My husband, children, and I were on our way home from our Drive Across America when our bus leaked out all of its oil. 🚫The hotel was not clean properly. Dirt was visible in many areas. 🚫The bathtub wouldn’t hold water. 🚫There weren’t enough blankets and pillows. 🚫The beds weren’t comfortable. 🚫There were cracks in the flooring and the tub tile. 🚫There were brown spots on the ceiling from a leaky roof. ✅The staff was nice. 👎I wouldn’t recommend this hotel in Terre Haute Indiana.

Econo lodge in Durant, Oklahoma Stay September 4th ●WARNING!!!! ●The hotel is not the kind you take your family too. My mom and I only stayed here because we were exhausted and would be hitting the road early. ●I booked through Expedia but when i went to check in the hotel charged me a $50 upfront deposit that would be returned once I checked out. ●The room (106) was a good size however, the door to the room looked like it had been kicked in. Walls were patched up. On the wall by the trashcan was disgusting stuff. I coule tell it was from things being thrown into the trashcan. Wasnt even attempted to be cleaned or wiped down. ●The towels were very dingy. One of the "washcloths" was beyond stained. ●At the end of our visit, we piled together the dirty linen we used and made sure all trash was in trashcans. (My mom used to be a housekeeper so she's instilled proper etiquette into me for leaving a hotel room.) ●I checked out early and was told the $50 deposit would hit around 11am, when the other guests started checking out. ●Around noon i checked my bank account and $50 was there. I was looking at my account today and saw a $25 charge from Econo Lodge. ●I just got off the phone with a Kristy, who said she's the manager. She said i was charged because the housekeeper said we ruined bath mat, towels, and washcloths. This has me floored. ●I travel all over the country doing reviews on hotels, reataurants, attractiona, and more. Trashing others property is not in my nature nor will it ever be. So, now i get to dispute this charge with my bank. ●CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS! They gave me my $50 back the day I checked out and two days later charged me $25! I almost didn't catch it. I had seen the $50 refunded so I assumed I was good. No! Shady!

I'm just talking from the one I went to Spain, it can be different from the ones in United States... it had a good receptionist, security, at all times, the room was good, and the lobby was nice and big, at least in that one hotel in Spain everything was on point, just in a really weird area, not so close not so far from the tourism area

I actually really enjoy Econolodge since its homey and definitely really comfy. I've stayed in a few, the most recent being in North Carolina and I had no problems.

The stay in all wasn’t the worst. They were very prompt with trying to get me out of there. The housekeeping staff wanted to clean my room everyday even when I had the do not disturb sign present. Comfortable bed, nice shower was all I needed.

Was a basic room for the night that I stayed. Everything was clean and neat, so no complaints.

Very affordable, yet still very nice for the price. Very clean, spacious & meets the needs. The customer service is great.

Would’ve gave [brand:econolodge] a five star but for the price now not worth it. Your basic motel with just WiFi. Back than I use to use this as a quick getaway from home in my home state and travel. Could get a room for the low now they charge like a five star hotel with no good offerings. But three stars for the memories cleanliness and that there are several of them.

The Econolodge in Black Hills, SD was cozy. It was obviously a little old. Our bed was massive and comfy. The continental breakfast was small but plenty.

Clean and cozy. Not the fanciest or nicest, but it’s got a place to sleep and a clean restroom.
