I love this gel (I have type 4b hair). This give me the hold I need while not being too crunchy. It gives my hair shine and sleeks it down well. I usually use this gel or the ecostyler Krystal. The container says that it’s a level 10 hold but it feels more like a level 8 to me. I don’t mind though. It does not dry out hair. I would recommend giving this gel a try. If you have type 4c hair, it may not be ideal for a sleek ponytail. But it’s great for a wash n go. The price is okay as well. It does not flake by itself but do be mindful of what you mix it with. This product not only smells amazing but it does it’s job! This product held my 4 cornrows for a whole week of traveling with no sign of flaking, i also use this product as an everyday edge control!
