Design & Functionality Eco Nuts contain a natural cleaner that works as a surfactant, breaking the surface tension of the water to penetrate the fibers of your clothing. It lifts stains from the fabric and leaves dirt suspended in the water that is rinsed away. Eco Nuts are a berry fruit related to the lychee and are not nuts at all - they are Nut Allergy Safe. Eco Nuts only use a particular variety and size of nuts. They have found this quality control translates into more re-uses than many other generic soap nuts. Eco Nuts Soap Nuts are the only soap nuts to go through a sterilization process for consumer protection. (This process kills staph, coliform, etc. that may be present from exposure to animals, etc.). It takes only four easy steps to naturally clean, odor-free laundry! 1. Place 4-5 Eco Nuts in the reusable wash bag provided and tie it closed. 2. Put it in with your laundry and wash as normal, per manufacturer instructions. 3. Remove the bag at the end of the wash and set aside to dry or do another load. 4. Re-use up to 10 times until they start to disintegrate and then they can be composted in your garden or simply add new Eco Nuts to the bag. Materials Eco Nuts Soap Nuts are a berry that grows in the Himalayas that naturally produce a soap called saponin. The wash bag is made of unbleached cotton muslin. Sustainability Eco Nuts is committed to ensuring it's products are eco-friendly from contents to container. Not only do the soap nuts come from a sustainable source and are wild-harvested, but the nuts themselves are also great for septic and grey water systems because they contain no dyes, artificial foaming agents, fragrances, fillers, enzymes or optical brighteners and are 100 percent SLS (sodium laurel sulfate) and phosphate-free. Plus, the packaging is compact and biodegradable or recyclable - so it's lightweight and takes less space and fuel to transport. Love this stuff but you can find the exact same thing for cheaper on amazon. This is just the most well known of the soap berry brands. All soap berries are amazing, especially for cloth diapers and super sensitive skin.
I nanny for a family that introduced me to these. I was a little skeptical at first, but it made doing their laundry so easy! So I bought my own to try! You take 4-5 of the Eco nuts (fruit) and place them in the sack that comes with (they give you 2 sacks in the package) and then you just toss them into your laundry! You're done! Your clothes come out feeling so soft (because these are actually healthier for your clothes and helps them last longer) and they really have a lightly fruity sent. The only thing is they aren't good for removing stains - you'll have to pretreat any stains but their website has a lot of organic and safe cleaning products to accompany the Eco nuts! I highly recommend!
My daughter has very sensitive skin and I think this would be just perfect for her
I have been cloth diapering since my first born (now 4 years old) was a baby.I am currently cloth diapering my almost 2 year old and my 4 month old. And I love this product. It is so expensive friendly and it lasts a long time. I like it better than most cloth diapering detergents.

This actually last pretty long. I have a LG washer and don't have to put a lot of detergent to get the job done. So this last for a few months before I have to buy another one!
