The Dyson DC43 offers strong suction power, which is great for picking up dog hair from carpets and upholstery. It performs especially well on low-pile rugs and hardwood floors, leaving them noticeably cleaner. However, the canister fills up quickly when dealing with heavy shedding, and emptying it can be a bit messy. The vacuum is also on the heavier side, which makes carrying it up stairs more of a chore. While the attachments are helpful, switching between them isn’t as smooth as I’d hoped. Overall, it’s a solid vacuum for pet owners, but it could use some improvements in usability and convenience.

This vacuum is so expensive for absolutely no reason I’ve had it 2 years it’s just a big heavy inconvience the head of the vaccum falls off while your vacuuming it doesn’t stay on thanks to the horrible magnet and even if you wanted to put one of the other small heads on it you wouldn’t wanna lift this massive 40 pound item around the house in little crammed spaces with the big giant useless ball in the middle of the vaccum to pick up some crumbs and the suction of this vaccum also sucks I still find black lint on my carpet I wish I could return this biggest waste of money ever I’m currently on my way to Walmart to buy a 50$ vaccum so my floor can be properly vacuumed
