The DryBar Single Shot Blow-Dryer Brush has lived in my cabinet for a while now. I enjoy using it from time to time for a quick, efficient dry and blowout style right from home. It has a bit of noise, but is not the loudest performing out there (video of each stage sounds in real time). It does excellent at providing heat at each level and is quite powerful in working through my long strands to minimize my time with a fully styled look in the end. I love that it has a cool shot feature and can finish each style with this (or do a quick cool down if I've put in too much heat. For efficiency and ergonomics, it is a great item to have at home. I do not use it as much as I would like because no matter my many attempted methods and pairings with Drybar products, it often leaves my strands in a frizz that does not seem to be as balanced as it should end in overall health. Have had several friends who love using it,though, and the bristles on the brush are awesome.

I’ve had this tool for over 3 years and the bristles are in good condition. I also like the shape of the barrel being a perfect circle. The others on the market are more like an oval shape but I wanted something that resembled a traditional blowout and this does just that! Very durable hair tool and great purchase for my 2C frizz-prone hair.

I was hesitant to buy the Drybar Single Shot since it’s marketed for shorter hair, and mine goes past my bra strap, but I’m so glad I went for it! At first, I wasn’t impressed by how simple it looked, but that actually ended up being a plus. It’s fast, convenient, super easy to use, and not confusing at all. It left my hair silky smooth (I used it with the Hot Toddy Spray). I also thought it might hurt my hand or feel bulky, but it’s surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle while wrapping my hair around it. I absolutely love it! It is a bit loud on the highest setting, but I really don’t use that setting.
