Drunk Elephant Shaba Complex Eye Serum
Everyone has that one insecurity about themselves. Mine just happens to be the darkness under my eyes; however, Drunk Elephant's Eye Cream has severely helped me feel more secure about the way my eyes look. The packaging of it is so nice and efficient. It only takes a small pinch to get the exact amount necessary for around the eyes. In fact, it's so natural looking that when it is compared to other eye cream brands they look caked on. The feeling of putting on the eye cream is very satisfying because it feels like it sinks into my skin and not just stick there. 10/10 I would so use it again.
I’m starting to get fine lines right under my eyes, and wanted to start treating it before it gets worse, and hopefully reverse it since it’s not too bad yet. This was my first time using a product from Drunk Elephant product, mainly because of the price. They’re so expensive, however, everyone raves about them! This was suggested by a Sephora employee and plenty of beauty bloggers. So while the product did brighten my under circles and the fine lines are less noticeable.....I started getting a few milia under my eyes within a week of using the Drunk Elephant Shaba Complex Eye Serum. I’m not saying it caused it, but that’s literally the only change I made to my skin care routine. I rarely get milia, so to get several is out of the ordinary. It sucks.. I wanted to love this product so much because I really did notice a difference. It’s just a matter of the pros not outweighing the cons. Now I have to go to the dermatologist and have them removed, which isn’t something I want to do regularly. I ended up returning the product because it’s not worth the money to me. Hopefully their new eye cream is better (I’ll be reviewing that soon).
Shaba Eye Complex is my holy grail. While my dark circles are still slightly noticeable, I always notice a huge difference when I’m using it vs when I’m not. The key is the copper peptides, these guys are a work horse. Not only do my eyes look softer, more awake, and less dark, but my eyelashes actually look fuller and more fluffy when I use it! I even have to be careful about getting under my eyebrows because it will make the hair grow back so fast. This is an amazing eye cream and so far has lasted me 6 months with almost daily use.
I just started using this eye cream (with the updated packaging) around 2 weeks ago. The smallest amount really goes a long way on the eye. I feel like my undereyes aren’t as dark as they used to be and the fine lines, while they are there still, are less noticeable. I’m 23 so I don’t have a lot of wrinkles under my eyes but I feel like this will be great to prevent anymore from forming.
This has reduced my puffy circles more than my dark circles. It is effective, but you do have to use it for more than a month to see results. I was kinda dissapointed in the first month but then I began to see the improvement. I apply half a pump 2x a day and it has been 3 months and I hope this lasts for one more month. I had no issues with sensitivity. I also use their Protini cream and Lala retro cream, it is a great skincare line!
Veryyyy underwhelmed. Everyone leaves such good reviews for Drunk Elephant I bought into the hype and got an eye cream. I'm nearing 30, and I LOVE the sun. I was looking to invest in an eye cream that would help reduce the amount of fine lines around my eyes, and hopefully help with the raging dark cirlces I've lived with my entire life. I don't need much as far as an eye cream - I have oily skin so I don't experience dry patches. However, this did nothing as far as I could tell. It didn't reduce my dark circles, or brighten the eye area at all, it didn't noticeably (or at all) lessen, or improve the appearance of, the fine lines coming in around my eyes. I gave it 3 stars because its not irritating, absorbs well, and moisturizes alright.

I am very Drunk Elephant loyal, but this is not one of their better products. The serum wasn't very hydrating or soothing around my eyes. I felt irritated and throughout the day it started to "flake" off my skin. There are much better eye creams out there for the price. I dab some of their Marula oil and maybe some Aquaphor on my lids before bed and feel incredibly hydrated. No need to buy this product, splurge on their Marula oil.

I purchased a sample pack of DE products and I am never turning back. After a week my fine lines are diminishing and I can’t stop staring at how my skin looks so much more soft and even. I highly recommend everything in their line, especially the eye serums. I know some people have had sensitivity but I have had no issues and I usually do with eye products. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this safer line!
I have very sensitive eyes, most eye products burn and make my eyes red. I love this because i can put it all over. I listened to an interview with the founder Tiffany Masterson and because of the peptides in the cream not only is it very hydrating it helps hair growth! So like her i rub this all other the eyes getting into my lashes and brows! The products is a thin, smooth lotion like cream feels lightweight on the eyes. I have hereditary under eye circles not sure yet if it has helped with those but i like it still for the other benefits. Says you could mix this with the new vitamin c eye serum so i might consider trying that out. I will continue to use this twice a day!
I’m still on a perfect hunt to help lighten my under eye circles. Drunk elephant is pretty expensive but I have had a successful history with them. I haven’t been using this long enough to notice a difference in my under eyes but I can say it’s really helped to flatten my under eye out! If you struggle with puffy under eyes I would recommend trying this eye cream out!
