I had shoulder replacement surgery in the past. I needed crutches for my knee surgery and these crutches have shock absorbers so that your shoulders are not taking in all the weight of your body from the use of crutches. A lot more comfortable than the regular crutches and forearm crutches.

Theses are great for people that can't walk. A kid at my school used these and they were very helpful to him
