I am total non weight bearing and this product was chosen by my case manager then delivered to my room with my wheelchair. The commode was compact and folded down almost flat and very lightweight. The armrests let down very easily with smooth transfer. I am 5'1" & 150 lbs so the size was perfect for me but may be on the smaller side for a larger adult. I measured & there is 23" available with both armrests up. The seat and lid easily detached for cleaning which was a huge plus. Just a couple of drawbacks, with the pail & seat. The pail seems a little too small/ shallow. If the handle of the pail is not in the correct position, it can cause the underside of the seat and bar to pinch the back of your legs. Overall I am satisfied with this product.

I work with a lot of people that have and use one of these bedside commodes. These are super helpful for those who cannot easily tabulate (walk) on their own or with assistance. These are also particularly helpful in those taking medications that require frequent, unexpected bathroom breaks.

The se are most know for old people or older women/ men who really can't walk .and it alright because it's not connected to pipes but your gonna have to empty it
