The smell first off let me say is so soft and lovely like a newborn baby girl. I’m big on smells and being clean so I had to start with that. When I had my daughter it was just getting to major stores in Florida like Walmart so it was so cheap to get I was paying half of what I paid for tide. It has since then gone up in price to about $10 average however I do get the one that’s like 75fl oz. which makes about 48 loads per wash. But baby clothes are only so big so when it’s time to wash she only has like two loads (colors and whites) but for the most part it’s one loads. So for the price compared to tide I think this is a better deal considering you don’t wash babies clothes as much. It’s light and lovely in smell again and it fades out rather quickly leaving a light scent so if your worried about it being to strong for a newborn it won’t be a problem. I originally brought this when my daughter was about 2 months and she just turned months now and I just ran out. So it does stretch and last.

Doing laundry everyday for your new baby doesn’t seem as daunting when you use Dreft! The detergent is light and safe for your child. It removes stains (pair with dreft spray and wash) and everyday messes such as spit up. It also has that precious baby scent that makes you smile when you are putting all the laundry up.
This is the smell of everything baby to me. This is what newborns smell like, it is the most wonderful smelling detergent in the planet. Its delicate for the babys and it does a great job of cleaning newborn stains. I will always use draft for my bbies
I’ve used dreft on every baby’s cloths that have ever stayed in our home. My two children included. It’s so gentle on their skin and we’ve never had an issue with irritation. The smell is soft/light but nice. Definitely recommend.
This was recommended by my pediatrician. It had a really pleasant smell but it wasn't special. It didn't help my baby with her eczema. It didn't make it worse but it didn't really add to her getting better.
