Does this seem like a really DANGEROUS product to anyone else? Messing with your brain chemistry and what-have-you is something that should be overseen by a health care professional.

I really don't think it is dangerous. They are natural sleep and relaxation aids. Melatonin is a chemical that is naturally produced in the brain to promote sleep. I have been given recommendations by health care professionals that if you are having some problems sleeping it might be helpful to take melatonin pills. It seems much less dangerous than energy shots that are used commonly.

GABA is a "amino acid" And L-5-Hydroxytryptophan (L-5-HTP) is Tryptophan which is also found in turkey ( that also promotes tiredness)

You know, I have to agree with you. I was given a sample bottle and I tossed it. I was too creeped out... This product touts itself as being "natural." there is genuinely natural sleep remedies, like melatonin.
