I really like this stuff. I used it when I was pregnant because there wasn't anything else I could take for a 2000 mile car trip at 3 months pregnant and in the middle of some narly morning sickness. It worked great for me and I recommend it to any women I know that are traveling and are pregnant. (I always recommend they check with their doctor first to make sure before they take it.) It's way cheaper and more effective than Seabands in my opinion.
One month in India on unpaved roads, trains, planes and buses... Let's just say the only reason I did not puke or get dizzy was because of these babies. I SWEAR by them and cannot travel anywhere without them! Plus, a long flight usually doesn't feel as long because this stuff makes you sleep like a baby!
I think these really do work. I went out on a cattle boat for the first time in about 8 years, and took a few before we boarded. I was never one to get sea sick, but I wanted to make sure because it had been so long. I felt great, and made sure to drink a ton of water. The next time I went out, which was about two weeks after, I didn't take any Dramamine. I didn't get sick, but I felt like I was, and felt horrible for a whole day after.
I suffer from motion sickness and I always keep a package of these in my purse. I take one a half hour before I leave and then by the time I get in the car, I don't experience any symptoms of car sickness such as the nausea and the headache. It doesn't make me drowsy. It's kind of a miracle drug for me.
This is amazing! I get motion sick on airplanes and on boats. Last summer, I went on a cruise with my family and I was not going to spend it locked in my room from being nauseous. I didn't feel sick at all! It saved my vacation. The only downside is I get headaches when I take it, but I'd take that over nausea any day!
Ever since I was 18 I have been really impacted by having motion sickness. It started when I went to school where i had to take a lot of larger vehicles for transportation, and has only gotten worse since there. Dramamine does a wonderful job of keeping it at bay. However, even the non-drowsy version puts me right to sleep. It's really annoying
Never knew how important it would be to have this handy, until I was on a cruise a few months ago. It works pretty quickly, and it definitely gets rid of the motion sickness for a good amount of time. There are "less drowsy" ones you can get as well, because it does get you a little sleepy after it kicks in. Will always keep this handy on future trips!
We bought some of these when we went on a cruise last year. I took it the first day and still felt nauseous so I decided not to take it the day after and i was actually better. But it did work really well for my cousin who was taking it as instructed & helped her with her sea sickness.
I used to always take dramamine before departing on the cruises I'd go on. They worked well and I usually only had to take one and we alright the rest of the week, but this pill does make me extremely tired after taking one and sometimes I have to rest for a bit after taking one. If it didn't make me so tired I'd probably rate it better.
Works great on motion sickness when taken in advanced BUT DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL with it. You will most likely black out. It says not to on the bottle but I know someone who did and didn't remember anything after only 2 beers and this person usually drinks well over 2 beers and is fine.
